Everyone had compassion for him at one point or another, "Well, he's kinda special, we'll just let him hang around" that type of thing. He's never been disciplined for anything his whole life, you can tell. His "special" status has prevented most everyone from ever doing anything about his antics. That's all changed now, he is going to trial for real criminal activities, and he's being tormented online in a place where he has ZERO control, not like FB or YouTube where he endlessly harasses other foamers and people he thinks are his enemies. Here there's nothing he can do, and it's driving him nuts.

I've never been one to let a disability or some other factor give me pause when the person acts like a cuntwagon. Mainly because I've always been of the opinion that you never let what hand you've been dealt with dictate your life or the notion that you can use it as an aegis. It kind of pisses me off when people use what they got in life to get out of situations, like how Shaner used his malformed brain and the art of shitting himself to get out of doing his job at Sears.

It sounds like a similar situation with Chris's upbringing. His parents are largely the reason that he turned out the way he did, especially with how Barb approached parenting. Do you know any information about Len's childhood possibly? It could really help explain more about why he acts like this.

I don't even know Len, but I guarantee you it went like this: Len did something utterly, stupefyingly retarded, antisocial, and/or malicious. Whoever was in authority tried to punish him. Mommy went behind his back to the authority and gave them the ol' "Cut poor Lenny a break, he's not right in the head, he didn't know any better!" Authority relented. Len learned nothing. Rinse and repeat.

I don't think there's anything wrong with cutting a mentally disabled person a break. The first time they screw up, sit them down, explain slowly and carefully why what they did was wrong, tell them this is their warning, send them on their way. But you can only cut so much slack before there's no rope left at all, and you get a Chris, or a Len.

I heard that rumor a few years back, never gave it much weight, considering it came from the "I Fucking Hate Shaner Club." The stories I heard were of his epic railroading exploits, how he ran this engine or that, how he was the only one to get it to run right, that sort of thing. One of his favorite stories that I heard in person as well as from other people was that he ran the R&N 425 up the Colebrookdale Branch back in the early 90's. He was without question on one or more of those trains, and probably in the cab of 425 at one point or another. Did he actually run it??? Fuck no. Let a random foamer at the controls of a steam locomotive dragging a shit load of cars loaded to the gills with passengers??? Again, fuck no.

I can't speak for all autists or the mentally-disabled, but Len had problems recognizing non-verbal cues and faces. He lied to fit in to a conversation. It's mostly to feel "normal" I would imagine. Maybe they bullshit or lie or make-up an outlandish claim but I'm convinced it's to connect to people.
