It may be possible to spoof a user through FB's Graph API. I've never used it much. Sending fake FB messages is fairly easy.He really needs a wiki entry. Either lolcow wiki or ED.
That's the thing. There is a ton of content on Hy's page (and that page is friends with all his family who are all clearly real). But none of the rest of the content would indicate that Hy (who is an eccentric, but highly intelligent, articulate, and successful attorney) would engage in the kind of batshit insane sperging that his account appears to have done.
I think @I'm With Chris may have figured out the solution as to how someone like Lennay could have "hacked" a Facebook account. The question is, computer-savvy Kiwis, is there any way to prove that the "Mayerson" messages on the Erica Stone page were spoofed?
