The idea would be to discredit the railroad workers as reliable witnesses as they would supposedly have the ulterior motive of winding len up on here to discredit him which is of course nonsense not least because the incident precedes this thread, witnesses are sworn to tell the truth, none of them post here and lens own photos are pretty damming among other reasons.

Its a typical tactic amoung a certain kind if lawyer in personal injury claims when there is an inconvenient witness.

Basically, Len seems to have convinced himself that he wasn't trespassing on the CRR property and that @Zim and @Pocket_Sand! "made up" those charges to get him in trouble so that he could never back into the RR. His logic for submitting Kiwi Farms screencaps is that if he can prove that the members of the Colebrookdale have made a website to discredit him, then it will naturally follow that they made up the charges as part of this process too.

He thinks that OPL was a previous target of the Colebrookdale, who apparently have made it their mission to make the lives of certain foamers into a living hell. I'm not sure why he thinks OPL is a railfan, but I was happy to validate it for him when he asked.

Fair point. I should have clarified: A graduate of an ABA-accredited law school in a criminal trial proceeding (appellate briefs are often -- perhaps by necessity -- a bit out there).

Orly went to a CA correspondence school whose grads are only eligible to sit for the CA bar.

Also, while her "birther" filings were hilariously unhinged, she didn't actively go "off the rails" in open court. I'm sure others have done similar things in criminal trial proceedings, but I honestly can't remember ever hearing about something this nuts.

Also, let me second @waffle in responding to those who suggest that Hy's difficulties stemmed from not being "the right kind of lawyer."

Anyone who's passed the first year of law school (or heck, watched a season of Law and Order -- as horribly unrealistic as that show is) could do a better job. All you have to do is not spin insane conspiracy theories, tell your client to shut up, and take the slap on the wrist (until this stunt the probability of Lennay facing any meaningful consequence was effectively zero).
