Remember how oni would still be in the room if we tried to quickly backtrack? Not in Ao oni R.
Makes chases way way easier. It might be like this because of how much more often you get chased.

Another fun detail is if we recheck the bedroom. We can see the hole the oni made to jump down.

Of course if we take it, it doesn't put us in the right spot. So it's only a half a detail I guess.

Grab a key that really shouldn't be here. I wish one of these games just added the word "spare" to the key's name.
Then you could say mika found the first key first, and this is just a backup hidden encase of emergency.

To give an example how bad it was, the curse now threatens to destroy the world. There is a nude loli witch walking around and it starts going about secret witch covenants and prophecies. But really the lack of bad endings and shitty 3d made even the level of stupidity not fun

Sadly oni transformations are a big down grade. I can see why given it's a different base sprite for human Mika, but oh boy let me tell you there other places that didn't have this sprite issue, also ended up being downgrade in animation.
