Clearly you need to stop paying for everything except data, (I mean you can't get those waifus with data!) And reallocate those funds to RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS, for those sweet sweet waifus! You won't need family after you finally unlock your favorites, because they'll be your new family and won't judge you for neglecting their needs!

Background on the guy in the article, he's fucking rich. he's a day trader and earns millions. But yeah, some people spends a lot on FGO.

But to put a background on why asian gachas seem benevolent is because of GBF. It became infamous because of the news that a kid spent around 30000 yen on it, and parents complained, laws were made that made it similar to the open box regulations that US have regarding those collectible cards (the disclosement of rates, and a guarantee of rare cards in a packet and box).

So, yeah, every jap gacha follow these rules now. But GBF's main income comes from those guaranteed Super Super Rare cards that you redeem from buying expensive goods like Bluray and some expensive limited keychains stuff.

Anyway, the real gacha hell is still FGO, as shown here, a voice actress for FGO spends her money on FGO

Algorithm stuck this in my recommended even though I've never watched his videos, the No Man's Sky autopsy was good but the Raid "ad" was well-placed as well. I can't tell if he took the money but went off-script in his own deranged way, or if he did it for free and the meme. Either way it's crazy!

Make sure to watch his Fallout 76 video if you haven't already. Obviously more stuff has happened since he uploaded it, but it is one of the funniest videos I've ever seen.

Girl's Frontline is one of the few gacha games I've played that you don't have to throw money at it.

Also it's got a ridiculously convoluted setup to justify gun girls involving a secret society of soviet radicals, AI singularity based on alien/nazi? technology, references to cold war events and technology, radiation that creates mutant zombies, political intrigue between the government the military and PMCs, etc.
