The twitter account for Good Old Games recently used the #WontBeErased hashtag (a hashtag supportive of transgendered people regarding the Trump Administration's plans to redefine gender) as a joke to promote their site (they mostly sell old PC games). VoidBurger and pals are, of course, upset (the last screenshot is of a tweet GOG made in the past where they made an assume gender joke:

Chip Cheezum was probably the first let's player I've ever followed since like 2008. I especially enjoy this exchange. You know when you have a community which is, by definition, "toxic?" And not the throw-away "toxic" that people say according to whimsy, but the real "toxic?" When you have people like this telling other members to simply stop following you. The moment other members start telling other members to start reducing your fanbase is when you should start getting some alarms going off in your head as a content creator.

If you think current world is scary, you know nothing of history. You don't have to worry about dying of plague or foreign hordes messing up your crops and killing your family. You don't have to worry about starving to death, planes dropping bombs on your house or being drafted to war nobody wants to fight. It's not a perfect world, of course. There are still people living in poverty, wallowing in their own filth and dying because of lack of clean water. There are women being kidnapped and sold into prostitution, slavery still exist in certain parts of the world and there are actual oppressive regimes out there where people cannot say one wrong thing even in their own homes for fear of being dragged out by the goverment and left to rot in prisons.
