Two minutes with Chip and VB during their charity theme:

I joined right at the end of VB giving a spiel on what charities they are supporting, and something not mentioned in the original description (unless I missed it) is they're also supporting everyone's favorite charity TLL, with VB mentioning that article about them getting 4x the calls since "the news".

I went to check chat to see if anyone mentioned how scammy TLL is and was immediately distracted by the fact this is a facecam stream, which I forgot about. They have DSP tier costumes of...something, I honestly don't know what. Chip mentioned having bear hands on, so I guess animals? VB is just lumbering around the apartment so I haven't had a chance to see her.

Chip seems bored out of his mind. He's doing the slouched over gamer thing on the couch and he's providing pretty minimal commentary. It sounds like he's doing a blind LP of whichever Silent Hill this is, so it's more of a riffing style commentary from him, which isn't really his strength. Chip works best when he knows the game and has a lot to talk about.

Someone donated unironicly saying they are happy to be on the right side of history.

VB sat down and I think is supposed to be some sort of chicken thing? Ignoring all the obvious reasons of why facecam was a bad idea, you can tell neither of them have done much on camera streaming before. They're both very low energy and just don't know how to conduct themselves. I don't think they've been going for that long either, so it can't be long stream fatigue. Other than that, it's pretty boring commentary. Going to leave it on in the background for a bit to see if anything noteworthy happens.

It starts with VoidBurger getting pissy at a Youtube commenter (who I suspect is familiar with this thread) making fun of her and Chip Cheezum:

Unsurprisingly, VB completely missed the point of the comment and zeroed in on the last bit. Granted, part of that is on the poster for implying VB turned Chip into a bitch. There's certainly no doubt in my mind VB helped push Chip further along his current path, but even if they weren't dating, Chip would still have the same views he has today just because so many people in his social circle share them and Chip has a follower personality.

The first part that VB decided to look over is calling out Chip's hypocrisy for trying to portray a soft boy image who cries during cartoons when his channel is built on shitting on other people's videos, largely for their personalities. Creators grow, for better or for worse. It's fine to acknowledge that you're a different person, but don't try and pretend you've always been that person. To me, that's largely what the comment was calling out, you can't get away with always pretending to have been this nice and caring guy when your channel also features a playlist full of videos of you openly making fun of people.

Goddamn Voidburger is such a vapid cunt; she's so short sighted and has such poor control over herself that she really doesn't see how much hatred she spews out onto her timeline. Everything she says is so incredibly rude, judgmental and hateful and yet her perception of all of this is that everybody else is the problem and "her existence just provokes people". What's that old phrase? Where if you see an asshole every now and then, then that guy is probably just an asshole. But if you're completely surrounded by assholes you probably need to consider that you yourself, are the asshole. She just doesn't see it that way. She's completely infallible in her own mind and people just attack her for absolutely no reason.

Why is it these vitriolic, hateful losers with shitty career prospects and almost no tangible benefit to society always the ones with the biggest egos?
