Slowbeef himself is incapable of not bringing politics into everything. I've always gotten the impression that Diabetus wants avoid controversial subjects like politics.
In fact, I think I remember Slowbeef mentioning in an old Retsutalk that Diabetus had said to him that it's better to keep to non-serious stuff for tweets (and Slowbeef actually said that he agreed, something which he evidently went back on).
On the last Retsutalk they did Slowbeef autistically mentioned that he saw the Angry Birds movie, then unironically
claimed that the fringe leftist conspiracy theory that the film is racist, anti-immigration propaganda is legitimate, to which Diabetus awkwardly cracked a joke.
That's how far gone Slowbeef is: he thinks that fucking Angry Birds is far-right propaganda.
I am kind of morbidly curious to see how them doing Retsupurae again would go given Slowbeef's spiral into far-left extremism and the current political climate.
Or, to be more accurate - I'm interested to see how it would eventually crash and burn; will Diabetus drink the Cool Aid or will Slowbeef's lunatic leftist friends rip him apart for not buying in to their cult?
Diabetus definitely seems to be on the left side of political spectrum and has voiced some SJW-esque opinions in the past, so there is precedence for him becoming as pathetic as Slowbeef now is.
