I think one of my favorite things about his fanfics is the outrageously inflated numbers. You can tell he's basing everything off of what video games taught him about conflicts, where during the course of gameplay your single soldier casually reaches thousands of enemy deaths over the course of a few missions. And all conflicts include waves of soldiers. Granted, only claiming a dozen casualties is somewhat more subdued from Dark's previous stories.

If only they had listened to Dark, seemingly the only person who realized that, a person with a gun could shoot Supreme Court members. A truly enlightening security assessment.
In all seriousness, this is just dumb LARPing, and not funny dumb. The supreme court doesn't have secret service or some other special security force. I imagine the actual building has a security marshall, but those guys aren't exactly a toughened security force. There are measures in place to provide protection, but it's just standard police protection. I'm not sure what Dark's pretend security assessment would consist of. That you could theoretically break into their houses and murder them? That's a "security flaw" that applies to pretty much everyone. And, again, when things are a little more heated, they do tend to provide some level of police protection. Not just for the supreme court, but politicians in general. It's usually just a footnote in stories, largely because it basically involves cops being stationed around the area. Which typically gets the job done. While there's a lot of people who talk big, it's generally hyperbole, and the few crazies that actually want to carry something out are usually too incompetent to do it.
Still, I'd say my new favorite cow/fanfic writer is winning the thread. I bet Chip hasn't even killed 100 Russians yet, and when's the last time Slowbeef had to single handedly fight off an elite team of snipers/assassins that invaded his house?

A high level federal employee has a lot of passive monitoring around them. Principally they just watch the streets and the area around the house with cameras that flick on. There is usually a DCPD cruiser in the neighborhood constantly and there is often three-letter 'rest house' near by.
This is not going to stop a stealthy and dedicated infiltrator, but the government is going to know about those. And anything outside of the norm is going to provoke a reponse.
I had a friend in a police department that Obama did a whistle stop in. A week before the bus rolled through, he was put on a detail to take orders from the Feds. He initially worked with some guys in suits from the SS. They had a list of names and addresses, and they just wanted to have someone drive them by those addresses and get a look and snap some pictures. Night before the tour came through, they worked to make sure every name on that address was at home, they worked with a bunch of federal contractors to watch the places and just make sure they knew where all these guys were.
They were told not engage them, not to follow them, not to interfere with them or do anything other than radio in if they left their homes.
He talked to some other cops and some of them recognized the names as some of the unhinged conspiracy nuts they usually interacted with due to DV calls or Drunk & disorderly. They didn't give any of these names to the SS, the SS rolled up and already knew who they were.

From most of these SA hits, its usually drug related. Its likely there is some Operation Opera-like behind the scenes coordination going on, but these guys' "security" comes from the cartels and their networks. The first time its seriously brought up can easily escape the 'trap' by just saying "Oh yeah, I was just LARPing. Second post on how setting the LARP on Prince Edward Island is retarded, but it really is monumentally stupid. I looked at the posts about the shootout with 30 Russians and it is supposed to have happened in Canada (at one point, when someone asks "how did the Russians get into Canada?" Id answers "I don't know." so most likely it was really supposed to happen in Canada. All the statistics are "police-reported" but basically, gun violence is incredibly rare on Prince Edward Island. In 2020, there was 11 firearms-related deaths per 100,000 people. That means less than 20 total. Once again, we're asked to believe he shot more people in one evening than die that way in the entire province in a year. And that he went to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds afterwards and that the staff did not notify police about this presumably rare event. And that he disposed of 30 bodies without anyone noticing. And that he isn't violating any Canadian firearms regulations. And that no one heard multiple shotgun blasts from the Russians and him firing his rifle. (It's implied he lives in a rural area, so that's the most plausible part.)
