If these videos were like ten minutes long I could see how they'd serve as a joke, but adopting a DSP persona and then hollering like a buffoon for two fucking hours is beyond retarded.

It's particularly funny that he mocks DSP for asking for money when Slowbeef himself recently asked for money to stream himself playing Final Fantasy 7 (and this was only the Patreon goal, he'd be making even more money in donations on twitch during the stream).

He makes fun of DSP for ranting about games and their fanboys when he's done so himself many times, most notably in the Retsutalk episode where he bitches about someone making a .gif of him fucking up in Dark Souls and posting it to reddit and whines about Dark Souls fans generally.

What's really dumb about this is that there is already a pretty good take on this on the retsupurae channel (multiple people doing short skits) and it has been there for over two years now. Those were nice, while live roleplaying as Phil on twitch and hoping people throw bits at him like he's some retarded circus animal doesn't make him look like the bigger man.

I watched a bit and it definitely has its moments but the problem is that it's too long (again). We all dread the moment when we start looking just as bad/autistic as the people we mock and slowbeef is quickly approaching that point by doing those long-ass Phil LARPs. If this was an edited 5-10 minute Youtube video instead of a 50 minute twitch stream it would've been good, but no bits no deal anymore I guess.
