Everyone knew Volition was doomed but I'm surprised they lasted a whole year after that Saints Row disaster. It's like a catastrophic accident victim that would've been more dignified just keeling over on the spot.

As far as Chip goes I vaguely feel bad for him since I think he's good at his job (video editing, he was never a dev) but if he couldn't find another one after Volition laid him off the first time then it's not anyone else's fault, except maybe his retarded soydev co-workers for making such a shitty game it hurt him via collateral damage.

They love it when soulless, billion dollar corporations censor people they don't like, when they lose their bank accounts, when they're assaulted in public.

If you worked for Volition (a company actively struggling since 2017 at the latest) - you fucked over yourself. I have no idea how you get laid off from a company who's drowning, get re-hired, then have access to the Saints Row reboot and think "This is the game that's going to bring Volition back from the brink!" and not find another job in like ~4 years. Even if for some reason you were a 'true believer' in Saint's Row : Reboot, the overwhelming negative reviews have been pouring in for a full year. Your parent company thought so little of you you were transferred to fucking Gearbox (Randy Pitchford and the Critically Acclaimed Borderlands 3). If your boss says "you know who can help you guys out, Gearbox." it should be your last day, instantly.
