The video isn't even that harsh on particular individuals, he does the standard complaining about hoe IGN rates everything as a 7-9/10 and complains that reviewers often have a negative tone during their review and an unexpectedly positive score at the end or vice-versa.

There's a general understanding between the hipster neck and legbeards in the video game criticism industry that anything in media can be criticized, but the critics themselves should never be. On a slightly different note; Lowtax continues to ignore his extremely tiny, dwindling fanbase for as long as he can proving once again that he's lazy, incompetent and completely unable to commit to anything over a long period of time. His first Patreon goal was to make $300 a month and for achieving this he planned to "make a crapload more videos and release them on a regular basis". He met this goal roughly three weeks ago and his upload schedule has not changed. The last time he uploaded a Gaming Garbage video to YouTube was on June 29th and the last time the Patreon was updated with anything was June 26th- since he met his goal he has created/uploaded maybe four videos total.

At the same time, Lowtax has created a brand new series with his co-host Jonathan called "Murder the Internet". Murder the Internet seems to be a podcast where they ramble on about whatever strikes their fancy at the time. It's aimless, meandering and the first episode was unimpressive. That said, since it's the same hosts and it's being uploaded to the Gaming Garbage channel you'd think that Patreon subscribers would get some kind of early access or whatever. That's not the case. And in fact if you don't follow him on Twitter you wouldn't have the link to the podcast's feed anyways.

Like I said, this kind of activity is really par for the course for him but it's just funny to see how little he cares about the few fans he has left. I've pulled my pledge to him and probably won't watch his shit anymore either. I only watched it to waste time while working out anyways.

He could go closer to home and just listen to slowbeef and diabetus' Retsutalk. Most of the episodes that have both of them on are pretty entertaining if you like the two of them.

I think part of the problem is that when you don't have Shmorky's voice to contrast it to, you realize just how grating Lowtax's voice is.
