Let's Sperg Let's plays awful, and or mediocre games. - There a ton of them out there. (Starting with Virus: It's aware)

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Some recommendation perhaps? A game with an okay gameplay but came with bad story line where no matter how hard you tried to escape the monsters, the not-a-Nazi-yet German patrols will find you anyways.

I was thinking of looking at a few of the amnesia games So I will keep this in mind. I think I might do 2 first. But thank you for the recommendation.

Reactions: Mary the Goldsmith
Countdown Vampires Part 4: The Evil House Of The Dead

(Please note this Update I decided to add a NTSC filter which had scan line filter with it. I know not everyone likes scan lines so please do tell me if you think it makes the game look worse , or think it makes the game look slightly better. I am keeping the NTSC, but I can get a version that removes the scan lines. The reason for this is some games that did use NTSC encoding from TVs to do things. For example Dracula's eyes in SOTN https://twitter.com/CRTpixels/status/1408451743214616587?lang=en I did test, and the NTSC filter I am using with RESHADE does do that. I think it looks nice.

But Again I am willing to get rid of the scan lines if people still read this LP dislike it enough.)

First things first, I've been looking into reviews done for this game done at the time it came out to get a better perspective on what people thought at the time.

And here is the best review it got

Something weird To note is psxnation review says the developer is " Free Cloud" which does show up in game, but the name of the developers is https://www.mobygames.com/company/3663/k2-co-ltd/ when trying to google anything about this game, and nothing about "Free Cloud"

Who if look at the games they had some part in, even if just porting some of the game is pretty cool. They went from knocking off RE to porting the remake in 2015, and doing what ever "Additional Graphics" means for the switch version of RE5 gold.

Going back to Free cloud weirdness and this GameFaq post I did bring up before in this LP says this about Free cloud.

RMJ.jpg

Which I don't know if I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but is worth mentioning again. System Sacom worked on

Our next game as well Deep Fear.

I love nerding out about trivial little things like this.

Screenshot_1.png

Welcome to today's episode of House Flippers. We got a real evil house this time. Let's go drive our way over there.

Screenshot_2.png

Have to make sure to avoid the homeless.

Screenshot_3.png

Let me tell you, there was a lot of them out today.

Thank Christ what ever street drugs they are currently on, makes them as motor impaired as people who vote only blue.

Screenshot_4.png

Real wonderful old house we got here, Not sure why the front door is locked behind a puzzle with clock keys that is furthered locked behind other puzzles, but hey that keep the burgles out.

Screenshot_5.png

Red Clock - 2, 7 Blue Clock - 7, 5

You asking where the fuck do you get the numbers. Well I'll be honest I look up the numbers and it didn't explain because I fucking couldn't figure it out on my play though. As much as I love old games, and bullshit puzzles, I wont lie. I also hate bullshit fucking puzzles. I love the idea, and love the silliness games can make you drop through to solve a puzzle. I also hate trying to solve said puzzles when they designed to make you waste your time.

I had to look up other youtubers to find one that figure out how you get the numbers.

So I'll walk you though what she figured out.

Screenshot_2.jpg

You go 10 - 4 to make 6

Screenshot_3.jpg

and 3 - 9 to make 6.

Now we got the 6's we need a place to plug them in.

Screenshot_1.jpg

Ahh yes those weird giant playing cards.

So for the blue clock you have 1 + 6 = 7 No I have no idea why you suddenly need to add those to together.

jack is 11 so 11 - 6 = 5 and we get 7, 5 as the code for the blue key.

8-6 = 2 and king(13) - 6 = 7 So red is 2, 7

All this nonsense to unlock the next area

Screenshot_6.png

Once you imput the correct codes the door lights turn green, and unlocks.

Screenshot_6-1.png

Welcome to the evil house.

Screenshot_6-2.png

complete with a in door fountain Interacting with the front of it gives us a important item.

Screenshot_6-3.png

Screenshot_6-4.png

And locks the door behind us, while unlocking the door infront of us pass the fountain.

The fountain where we took the panel also shows this now.

Screenshot_6-5.png

Screenshot_6-6.png

Let's blow this joint and go to the next room

Screenshot_7.png

Welcome to the Evil House hotel, yeah it's in reality a hotel and not a house. You got to make sure to read the fine print when buying new homes.

Screenshot_8.png

There some non important items over where but we can't see them yet because it's too dark.

Screenshot_9.png

So how do we light up a lobby? Why these GIANT FUCKING STONE TORCHES.
Screenshot_10.png

Screenshot_11.png

Screenshot_12.png

It gets fucking better as well, once you lit the second torch you get a video.

God what a exceedingly unnecessary way to light a lobby, but man do I love it.

Screenshot_13.png

Screenshot_14.png

We can see the items here now, and that door in the back can't be opened but I wanted to mention this because I missed these items the first time playing.

Screenshot_16.png

This door to right next to the door we came is is for later.

Screenshot_17.png

Where we need to go is the other side of the entrance to this room which is another door that leads us.

Screenshot_18.png

To stairs. We need to take a right ( keith's left hand side) for a hallway first.

Screenshot_19.png

Screenshot_20.png

Always be careful this place is full of the hooker looking vampires.

Screenshot_21.png

In this room is the restaurant

Screenshot_22.png

Screenshot_23.png

Screenshot_24.png

we came down here for the kitchen.

Screenshot_25.png

Screenshot_26.png

Not to snag a bite, this place is full of roaches.

Screenshot_29.png

Screenshot_30.png

This here is important.

Screenshot_31.png

This is to solve a musical puzzle later.

Screenshot_32.png

I hope you understand how to read music scale.

Screenshot_33.png

If you keep going down the hallway
Screenshot_34.png

It's a pointless door just there for flavor.

Screenshot_35.png

Time to go up
Screenshot_36.png

Screenshot_37.png

The game really throws out the different models in evil house for like 100% hooker model.

Screenshot_38.png

Screenshot_39.png

Screenshot_40.png

I misremember this part there no enemy hiding down that way yet, and also it's a dead end.

Screenshot_41.png

But there is more to see here.

Screenshot_42.png

But there are a bunch of vampires down this way

Screenshot_43.png

Screenshot_44.png

This bedroom is the way to go.

Screenshot_45.png

Screenshot_46.png

Screenshot_47.png

The fact only vampire in here might make you let your guard down, but it's all a poly for the room after this.

Screenshot_48.png
Screenshot_49.png

This is just a bottle for drinks, but I'll like to note this is the only bathroom in the evil house with any items in it at all, so I wont show the rest.

Screenshot_51.png

What we need to do is find this giant ass vent

Screenshot_52.png

And then crawl through it. KEPT YA WAITING HUH?

Screenshot_53.png

And if you let your guard down enjoy the

Screenshot_55.png

3 vampires who hide in this room.

There a big reason I nabbed this video, did you notice they took a hell of a lot more ammo then normal?

The Full amount of Stun ammo they normally take and a knockdown worth of AR ammo.

Little inconsistency like this makes me wonder if the handgun is bugged to also count towards helping stun vampires, or if other weapons are bugged not to.

I do plan to at some point open up the duck station cheat engine and see if I can figure out what going on here by looking at the HP value like I did for virus, not this update, but this has peaked my curiosity.

Screenshot_57.png

Screenshot_58.png
Screenshot_59.png

Go back here
Screenshot_60.png

Screenshot_61.png

Screenshot_62.png

So if I didn't go into the room with a vent the hallway would go here. it's basically a short cut for when we need to backtrack.

Screenshot_63.png
Screenshot_64.png

we have to go up but I want to show whats to the right there first.

Screenshot_65.png

Screenshot_66.png

The door to the left is currently locked but we will return later.

Screenshot_67.png

Screenshot_68.png

Screenshot_69.png

to the right
Screenshot_70.png

Also a locked door.

Screenshot_71.png

(The left is where that locked door was) Going straight up leads us to

Screenshot_72.png

A safe room door.

Screenshot_73.png

Screenshot_74.png

What we want is that key box on the wall bottom right.

Screenshot_75.png

Screenshot_76.png

Screenshot_77.png

BACK TRACKING TIME!
Screenshot_78.png

Remember this door this one wasn't locked, but the door beyond it is.

I fucking hate bats did I mention this before? Anyway I fucking hate bats thank god they can be super stupid and get into a shotgun stunlock.

Screenshot_79.png

Screenshot_80.png
Screenshot_81.png

Screenshot_82.png

Screenshot_83.png

So the event hall is where we have to use that Musical sheet we found before.

Screenshot_84.png

Screenshot_85.png

up those little stairs.
Screenshot_86.png

We find a pipe organ.
Screenshot_87.png

I also had to look this one up, because I don't understand musical scale.
weird.gif

You haven't seen nothing how weird this is yet.

Screenshot_88.png

This thing is to the right ( keith's left) of the door we came in.

Screenshot_89.png

Screenshot_90.png

Put in 1 panel.

Screenshot_91.png

Screenshot_92.png

Screenshot_93.png

and out pops 2.
and then

Screenshot_94.png

Screenshot_95.png

Screenshot_96.png

Screenshot_97.png

That's right we have another COUNTDOWN and all those vampires I may or may not have killed HAS RESPAWNED.

Screenshot_98.png

Btw fuck bats. No seriously I hate fucking bats.

You can see the moment I pause the emulator out of anger over these little shits. I kept it in purely because I didn't want to redo the whole video and deal with bats again.

You could say they really

Batman the brave and the bold was such a good batman cartoon. I rate it up there with Season 1 and 2 of the animated series and THE BATMAN.

Screenshot_99.png

funny walk.gif

I have no time for this zombie jamboree.
Screenshot_100.png

Remember when I shot down that hallway way earlier out of random. Because of that chick. I was misremembering that she only shows up during the countdown timer, and not before it.

But I do love how good of a horror movie shot it makes.

Screenshot_102.png

Something to point out, that bust in the wall I love how Vapor wave they look.

Screenshot_103.png

Screenshot_104.png

This item here is new, and a spoiler to a weapon we haven't got yet.
Screenshot_105.png

What would a RE knock off be with out a Magnum.

Screenshot_106.png

There it is, let's go get rid of this countdown.

Screenshot_107.png

We put in panel 2.
Screenshot_108.png

Screenshot_109.png

and get 2 more panels out. (:_(
Thank god the devs gave us such a large inventory.

These panels also look like Swiss cheese , that or who ever made them really fucking sucks at crossword puzzles.

Screenshot_110.png

Screenshot_111.png

Screenshot_112.png

b7aiybu9we351.png

Another fucking countdown. The game really trying to make the word countdown matter.

We meet nothing on the way to VIP room 3
Screenshot_113.png

Screenshot_114.png

Screenshot_115.png

Guess what happens when we put in panel 3

Screenshot_116.png

Screenshot_117.png

That's right 2 more fucking panels.

Screenshot_118.png

This time a door I didn't mention in the safe room unlocks.

Also one of the items to the right of us in VIP3 room is a note.

Screenshot_119.png

(letter addressed to randy)
Screenshot_120.png

(:_(With out friends?

Just like me.jpg

Screenshot_121.png

Ahh yes the game is having to retcon it's own nonsense notes now.

Screenshot_122.png

Screenshot_123.png

Female Detectve? Huh the intro mentioned nothing of this.:stress:
Screenshot_124.png

:story: You think he is enjoying his Hot undead vampire babes at this point.

Screenshot_125.png

But something happens when we leave this room.

Screenshot_126.png

Last part of this update is like 90% of what happens next.

during that video I took we find the magnum gun.
Screenshot_129.png

Oh and for anyone not wanting to see me bumble around like a Super Great friend let's play and only want to see the little cutscenes in that video.
I snitched them all together for you.

For anyone not familiar with the original RE1 this little bit is 100% a knock off of the hunter introduction.

:story: They not even trying to hide how hard they curb off RE now.

Magnum makes short work of the hunter.

That's it's for this update. Next time we find out what the panels are for, and go even more bootleg RE.

We got a real evil house this time. Let's go drive our way over there.
More like a Residence of Evil amirite? ... ok I'll show myself out.
Always be careful this place is full of the hooker looking vampires.
maybe this place is not so bad afterall...
I hope you understand how to read music scale.
hahahahahahahhahahaha man the devs of this game are huge nerds
Another fucking countdown. The game really trying to make the word countdown matter.
What's with their fucking obsession with countdowns? well anyway this one was:
At least for this episode

Man WTF is up with the puzzles in this game. That clock one is one of the worst ones I've seen in a long time. Also needing to know musical scales to solve a puzzle is kind of a terrible idea I feel like most people don't know much about that stuff, well at least I don't anyways. Really I can't blame you for looking the answers up for those.

The clock one is just wow It's even more funny when you think about all the steps you have to do to get the things you need to solve it. Once you think about the puzzle you start to question. "WHO THE FUCK DESIGNED A CASINO/HOTEL WITH A LOCK LIKE THIS?" With resident evil they hand wave it in later games/remake as being designed by a person well known for building places full of traps and puzzles. But like in CV the place is meant to be a legitimate place to gamble, and relax the fuck are all these puzzles?

Oh and when I mentioned next update the game decides to ape RE harder I fucking mean it. They stop pretending around this point for the rest of disc 1. If literally just knocking off the RE1 hunter wasn't evidence enough.

Did I mention this is a 2 disc game?

The funniest part about that clock puzzle is that the answer is basically just 4 digits anyways so you easily could have just used a normal keypad lock and you wouldn't even have to change the password and you could cut the extra steps.

Did I mention this is a 2 disc game?
2 discs means there's double the amount of pain fun for you to go through.

Countdown Vampires Part 5: Resident Bootleg
This updates song recommendation is a AI cover.

Screenshot_1.jpg

First thing I don't know if I keep forgetting to check but some of the computers save points have unique emails like this one called "The Box"

Screenshot_2.jpg

Screenshot_3.jpg

Screenshot_4.jpg

Very Japanese prank email. I just can't help but read the WHAT!! in Keith's voice.

Screenshot_5.jpg

Bootleg hunters now show up in the evil house and the fountain area.

Ready to know how they attack?

I do Snot like being hit.gif

I think it's meant to be acid or something, but looks like a giant ass snot ball. It also doesn't do that much damage.

Oh god poor Keith getting hit in the back of the head by a RE hunter with a cold.

Affliction.gif

I need to stop letting my intrusive thoughts get to me.

Screenshot_6.jpg

So yeah these guys are purely a ranged enemy, that weirdly like to get close before shooting. Hey I'll take that makes it dodge able and predictable.

Check out me suddenly going ultra instinct.

Screenshot_7.jpg

Little something I want to mention, you remember those bats in the room over here?

Screenshot_8.jpg

Despite never needing to come back to this hallway the bats have been replaced with hunters now.

I Guess you could say, the bats got HUNTED. :story:

Anyway when we go back to the fountain area.

A literal jump Scare .gif

This guy jumps out of the fountain. Cute little scare.

Screenshot_9.jpg

Also another hunter on the other side.

Screenshot_10.jpg

Screenshot_11.jpg

You guys ready for my favorite puzzle

When you Hit yes, all 4 panels show up on your screen, and you need to place them in a certain order to spell a word.

Screenshot_12.jpg

The order is 3

Screenshot_13.jpg

1

Screenshot_14.jpg

2

Screenshot_15.jpg

4

You may be asking "what word are you spelling?". It's very simple, you just look at the last panel and you see it spells out "Projectsin". I love this puzzle and i don't remember seeing this in other videos games.

Screenshot_16.jpg

The statue moves out of the way in the middle.

Which begs the question if the statue only just now moved how did the hunters get out? Was they just chilling out in the water before it got drained? I am all for bootleg hunter in CDV, but in RE it made some sense in relation to the cut scene.

Affliction.gif

Not again.

Screenshot_17.jpg

Hunter corpses pose like they love you THIIIIIIIIS MUCH.

Jump down and check the door for
Password.gif

Screenshot_18.jpg

ANOTHER puzzle of sorts.

Screenshot_19.jpg

Can you guess what the password is?

The password

Screenshot_20.jpg

That's right IT'S THE FUCKING WORD FROM THE PANELS.

I am not sure if I am just that retarded, but I had to look this up my first time after being unable to figure this out for like 30 minutes. I have no idea if there a note that spells it out for you or you just need to assume bootleg umbrella here loves using the name project sin.
With the password done Now it's time to

Screenshot_21.jpg

TO FUCKING BACK TRACK.

Screenshot_22.jpg

Remember waaaaaaay back when I mentioned we would at some point have to back track to that one control room to mess with a a thing in the corner? Yup now is the time.

Screenshot_23.jpg

And Monster/vampire have re spawned again. Thank god this game gives too much ammo.

Fun thing to note about the magnum.

another Little fun thing to note, if you look at the first kill you noticed the moment I realized what happened.

Huh.gif

I knew some weapons can get headshots kills on bugmen, I accidentally got one with a disc 2 weapon my first time playing. I didn't know mags could.

This is one of the few times I am always happy to see a RE knock off lift from RE.

red stun.gif

Also I show off how strong Red Stun ammo is. Only needing 5 shots on a full HP zombie to put it down.

Screenshot_24.jpg

Yes seriously

Screenshot_25.jpg

They all respawned again.

I am starting to think we aint saving anyone, and they just being reinfected when we leave. Of course that isn't really the case but not like saving anyone really matters story wise, only Ranking wise.

Screenshot_26.jpg

Remember this fucking computer? I hope you like minigames.

It's very simple, just press the X button when the line intercepts, you know if you did it right because you hear a beep, and if you get the timing wrong, it make the sound of "PSSSSSH".
Screenshot_29.jpg

There another mail I missed here, I aint going to go check all the computers for these.

Screenshot_30.jpg

Screenshot_31.jpg

heh Sonic news.

Screenshot_32.jpg

I might as well buy a snack I am pretty hurt.

Screenshot_33.jpg

Btw my hubris got the better of me I didn't eat it, and die a bit later to a werewolf I tried to gun down with the AR.

You could also see me check to make sure I wasn't in red at first, and got the wrong impression of my HP lol.

So I did a spongebob time card joke.

Screenshot_34.jpg

anyway let's go back to the fountain and go down to the lab now

Screenshot_36.jpg

Also I could post the real music for the basement, but uh I think this game deserves we just pretend this is the basement music.

Screenshot_37.jpg

I do think the game has really good sound design. You will never confuse two types of enemies for each other when you enter a room.

Screenshot_38.jpg

Screenshot_39.jpg

Wait till you see this.

Screenshot_40.jpg

Literally just a fucking RE lab under the god damn casino/hotel I wasn't exaggerating when I mentioned the game stopped pretending at this point.

Screenshot_41.jpg

Screenshot_42.jpg

Hell this wasn't even like the main lab or anything, this is the storage lab they ship the monster to from some other location.

Screenshot_43.jpg

Screenshot_44.jpg

If you was to ask me to describe what the Special Mode story cutscenes turns the plot of this game into, I would have to say.

Screenshot_45.jpg

God I can't wait till I beat this first run for you guys, so I can make a update purely for the Special Mode added cut scenes.
Screenshot_46.jpg

That's right despite the fact they act like zombies, they called vampires because they drink blood. I hate to burst this games bubble, but doesn't the bugmen also drink blood are they also vampires?
Screenshot_47.jpg

Please keep in mind that last line about the swat van, and it does come up later.

Screenshot_48.jpg

There also a Ivan ooze in here but who cares.

Screenshot_49.jpg

We got a wacky looking key.
and

Screenshot_50.jpg

MORE LORE.

Screenshot_51.jpg

Screenshot_52.jpg

That's right THEY ARE SELLING THE BIO WEAPONS THEY ARE MAKING.

What else would bootleg umbrella do?

I think my favorite part of this whole nonsense is this.
Screenshot_53.jpg

It might be unacceptable but we still selling it fucking anyway. Whats the odds the the enemy going to have a infinite supply of "White Liquid" to turn em back?

Screenshot_54.jpg

These might be the official names for the monsters. I guess the flesh is Ivan ooze monster. Scraper Might be the bugman

Screenshot_55.jpg

Big Shot I think is the werewolf, while the Horizoner has yet to be seen. And this remaining type can be the hunter, or the hidden Special story mode boss.

Oh Yeah i forgot to mention there a Special story mode only boss I will have to cover when we get to the Special story mode.

Screenshot_56.jpg

You can check the containers but it only says this.

Now that we got the key if we try to leave this room.

Beep.gif

That little head turn he does.

So let's check the computer which weirdly not only turned on by its on, but also has a new message.

Screenshot_57.jpg

You can read the full message here, but the game also restates this stuff to you in subtitles. But there are a few differences.

Screenshot_58.jpg

I like to think the subtitles is Keith Correcting the message in his head.
Screenshot_59.jpg

Like here where it turns just one doorway into EVERY ENTRANCE AND EXIT. :story:
Screenshot_60.jpg

Also queue our Resident evil BLOWING UP THE LAB/PLACE TO KEEP EVIDENCE HIDDEN.
Screenshot_61.jpg

Screenshot_62.jpg

Thank you Alicia for telling us this.

Screenshot_63.jpg

Remember when I first showed these two, if we went right rather then down we find these two doors. The first one is locked with a key we have yet to find.

Back one

Screenshot_64.jpg

brings us to more hallways and I think a new vampire skin. Cool.

Screenshot_65.jpg

We need to go left
Screenshot_66.jpg

Screenshot_67.jpg

To the last safe room of Disc 1.

Screenshot_68.jpg

There a map down here.

Screenshot_69.jpg

You can see how small the last area really is. And

Screenshot_70.jpg

Look at this boss area looking ass room.

It's where we need to go next.

Screenshot_71.jpg

Weirdly there mag ammo down here. Game wise I get why it's here, but it just weirdly urks me.
There also a new mail on the save computer.
Screenshot_72.jpg

Screenshot_73.jpg

:story: Dramatic Irony.

Screenshot_74.jpg

This door right outside the safe room is where we have to go.

Screenshot_75.jpg

Screenshot_76.jpg

Screenshot_77.jpg

She lost the plot more then we have.

Screenshot_78.jpg
Screenshot_79.jpg

Screenshot_80.jpg

Yes this is the Coffin Room. The middle thing a coffin, and the walls of the room has four coffins.

Screenshot_81.jpg

Screenshot_82.jpg

Screenshot_83.jpg

So what kind of illness we talking about here?

Or

Screenshot_84.jpg

Yes Keith, no need to metal gear this one.

Screenshot_85.jpg

Screenshot_86.jpg

This is also a connection to R?MJ. I think this means CDV is a full on sequel, but I can't say for sure as I have never played it.
Screenshot_87.jpg

Keith Do you mind not holding her at gunpoint? :story:

Screenshot_88.jpg

Screenshot_89.jpg

The sigh of a man disappointed he can't meet this "Gells" fellow.

Screenshot_90.jpg

Screenshot_91.jpg

I am sure dripping blood on the coffin isn't that serious of a issue.
Screenshot_92.jpg

See, no problems.
Despite looking like this area a boss fight, it isn't.
Screenshot_93.jpg

We also find our next key here tucked away in the corner.

Screenshot_94.jpg

Screenshot_95.jpg

When we pop out we see

Screenshot_96.jpg

Don't be fooled they just reskinned vampires.
But they do sound different.

The stun gun also can't stun them.

To me they look like what happens if the Redeads from OoT got fused with ET.

Screenshot_97.jpg

Screenshot_98.jpg

I don't know if this is to do with the color of the moon, or that I play on a emulator but I didn't have the problem AVGN had at this part.

I genuinely don't know, but It's a fun thing to mention. Anyway we are taking a left to that big door we passed before.

Screenshot_99.jpg

So get this shit. We take another left here

Screenshot_100.jpg

and keep going left

Screenshot_101.jpg

Screenshot_102.jpg

LOOK HOW NEEDLESSLY LONG THIS IS.
Screenshot_103.jpg

You might see this area and think. " Oh it's a dead end."

Screenshot_104.jpg

Screenshot_105.jpg

Screenshot_106.jpg

One of these two items is why we came here.

Screenshot_107.jpg

We can go to the parking lot now, let's take sonic's advice and GET OUT OF THERE.

Screenshot_108.jpg

There also all this extra unused space back here.

Screenshot_109.jpg

I have yet to find any hidden items or anything back here, so it's 100% pointless.

Screenshot_110.jpg

When we get around here on our way back

That's right the vampire hunter back and he is doing his best.

Jogger dave.gif

Jogger Dave Impression.

Jogger dave.gif

:story: Bet you didn't expect to see our best friend jogger dave again.

We forced to go chase after him now.

We need to go back to the coffin room.

Screenshot_111.jpg

Screenshot_112.jpg

Screenshot_113.jpg

The fucking way he says this line.

Hmm I wonder if I could. yes yes I have a couple of ideas for this clip.

Please tell me which of these two low effort memes you like better.

Screenshot_114.jpg

*snaps*

Screenshot_115.jpg

Uh oh I think letting her bleed on the coffin was a bad idea guys. Whoops.

Screenshot_116.jpg

Then here this sound clip.

Is he making the growl? Is whats in the coffin doing it? It sounds like him doing it.

Screenshot_117.jpg

No need to insult my subpar let's play skills Tall Dark and Voice Changer.

Me watching a art film.
Screenshot_119.jpg

What the.gif

This has the same vibe as failing a stealth portion of a video game, and the guard catches you.

Screenshot_121.jpg

Screenshot_122.jpg

I am sure she is fine.

You can also recheck the door
Screenshot_123.jpg

Keith I guess just refuses to check the door and looks at it.

We can go back to where we left off before Jogger Dave distracted us.

WE EVEN GET A RESIDENT FUCKING EVIL COUNTDOWN VOICE.

:story: God I fucking love this game despite the flaws.

Screenshot_124.jpg

Screenshot_125.jpg

Funny little side note. While Putting this post together I noticed that I somehow forgot to clip the boss fight, so rather then look through all the videos and recycle bin for the video to clip the boss fight out of it, I just Used a youtube video ripper website to download my own video and clip it from there. :story:

Screenshot_126.jpg

Screenshot_127.jpg

Look guys look it's the swat van.

Screenshot_128.jpg

This is why I think the boss might be the that H name from that file, because it can fly. It's this guy or the bats, take your pick.

Screenshot_129.jpg

Screenshot_130.jpg

That's a avatar if I ever seen one.

Screenshot_131.jpg

This whole intro scene to this boss gives off real Parasite Eve Vibes. Minus the whole painful transformation that tends to happen in those. The look and design otherwise do.

This boss is very simple.

Attack 1.gif

He has a short range attack.

Flying.gif

He can also start flying, and if he does he does one of two things.

Or he just tries to land on you.

if he does hit you with a short range attack.

Gloating.gif

He does a little gloating animation, depending how close you are to the cars I've got him to do it up to 5 times in a row when testing.

It's really well designed way to let you get up, and make some space.
Please note, if he is doing animation, the second you aim your gun at him, he stop with in half a second or less and go right for you so be careful.

Screenshot_132.jpg

I kind of counted but also kind of forget but if I remember right he takes around 13 mag shots.

Screenshot_133.jpg

Let's blow this Popsicle stand

barely made it.gif

You know this looks like something straight out of a zombie movie.

Something to note, this explosion video also plays if you let the count down reach 0.
Screenshot_134.jpg

The game didn't ask me to save, so we are going to keep going till we hit the save room.

nice looking.gif

Screenshot_135.jpg

In other words the whole town was fucked lol. The explosion did nothing. Also Re2.

Screenshot_136.jpg

What are we recapping what happen now?
Screenshot_137.jpg

White guy blinking.gif

Keith, buddy, we just started Disc two.

Screenshot_138.jpg

You have got to hear this one.

I swear it sounds like he turns gay after the what.

Screenshot_139.jpg

And right after this line, Keith must have took a giant fucking hit on a massive doobie because he sounds high.

Screenshot_140.jpg

For some reason this gas station surrounded by what is Junk metal piles compacted into squares, or could be stone blocks.

Screenshot_141.jpg

Once you go up the ladder you can't go back. Not that there anything to go back to.

Screenshot_142.jpg

Screenshot_143.jpg

Screenshot_144.jpg

Looks like we can only go into this oddly placed gas station.

Screenshot_145.jpg

No Idea why this needed to be a cutscene but it is.

Screenshot_146.jpg

Also a few items around the normal shit. Drinks, some gun ammo.

Screenshot_148.jpg

And stun ammo? Being this far out into the boonies in america doesn't take me as the kind of place you would find stun ammo.

Screenshot_149.jpg

We also find werewolfs ALL THE WAY OUT IN THE BOONIES. All our favorite monsters from disc 1 show up in disc 2. Man who ever running the project sin project sure likes letting the monsters go.

Screenshot_150.jpg

Screenshot_151.jpg

Screenshot_152.jpg
And we found the save room. Thank you all for sticking with my autism this long.

I'm a big fan of the developers deciding to put a sneezing hunter as a enemy in this game I hope we see more of them its quite funny. Totally looks nothing like poison at all. Also LOL at the vampire hunter guy with the best moment in the game so far. "This is the family coffin" followed up with heavy breathing or weird grunt or whatever odd noise that was. I like this game its starting to kind of feel like a RE parody.

It's for the better it feels this way.

The Extra story mode is nice in how it adds extra stuff that really should have been in the base story. But Then towards the end shits the bed with one part that made my jaw drop, and I could 100% see why they didn't add it to the normal story mode. I might be hyping it up too much but I don't care.

Deep Fear, nice. I slightly remember it reminding me of the Thing. Body horror and secluded space from were you can't escape. And bad voice acting.

I am far too smooth brain to tell if it was intentional parody, or just going so far into the Re cheese it ends up one. But if it a intentional one that makes that one Special story mode scene I've been hyping up make so much more sense. :story:

I almost want to say it might be a Stealth Parody.

I am slowly working on screencapping/clipping the next update currently.

Little spoiler for something that happens that I laugh at everytime.

Countdown Vampires Part 6 "The Hump day of the game"
Today's music recommendation is the Intro to the MIB cartoon.

Reminder of what happen last update: We Found "THE FAMILY COFFIN!", the casino/hotel/evil under ground lab blew up RE style. We fought a GIANT BUG boss, Keith and " The girl" hit the road and we are now at a gas station/junkyard combo after they ran out of gas.

Screenshot_1.jpg

Screenshot_2.jpg

(Author note: That door to the right is the gas station where the girl currently is.)

This is kind of a cool way to separate the areas.

Screenshot_3.jpg

Not so cool is the werewolfs hanging around here. It's kind of explained next update, not directly why any of the monsters are here.

Screenshot_4.jpg

I wonder why more games don't use a junkyard as a location. Specifically horror games.

Sidenote, any of you ever watch 13 ghosts?

I think the movie would have been better if it was just about capturing all of them like how opening shows the capture of the junkyard ghost.

Still a okay watch if you are having a halloween movie-a-thon.

Screenshot_5.jpg

The door to this RV is locked and the ladder needs to be brought down. Lets keep looking around.

Screenshot_6.jpg

Screenshot_7.jpg

TRIPLE KILL!

Screenshot_8.jpg

Weird those vampires left these items on this thing before they turned.

Screenshot_9.jpg

Look at that we got the campground vehicle key, looks more like a RV to me, but you do you game.

Screenshot_10.jpg

Inside we find that little lever, but before that.

Screenshot_11.jpg

There are a few items in here nothing important to show, but still worth pointing out encase any of you ever play this.

Screenshot_12.jpg

Did I say lever? I apparently need glasses because that tiny thing a "steering wheel"

Kieth, crank that Soulja Boy!

Screenshot_14.jpg

Really gives you a perspective on how many cars got told they are worthless here.

Screenshot_15.jpg

Screenshot_16.jpg

Well, Well, Well, a item.

Screenshot_17.jpg

In the words of slow beef.

God I miss retsupurae, it inspired me heavily for LPing.

Screenshot_18.jpg

Screenshot_19.jpg

You might see those two items on top but do you see the third item?

Screenshot_20.jpg

There is another angle in this room that better shows it, but you can nab it from this angle.

Give me it.gif

It's the key to the forklift we saw before.

Screenshot_21.jpg

A chainsaw in a horror game that references a lot of horror movies?
MUST... NOT... REFERENCE ...

Screenshot_22.jpg

Thank god it is locked. Need to reference evil dead has been averted.

Screenshot_23.jpg

This is the other angle i was talking about.

Screenshot_24.jpg

Turns out Keith is forklift certificated .

look at his left hand move like he some how operating fortlift with it to make it go up.

Keith got some jedi forklift powers.

Screenshot_25.jpg

More werewolfs, but this time I break out the AR.

Screenshot_26.jpg

Even with the enhancements I use to make the models look better it's sometimes hard to see things far away. So I circled THE OTHER WEREWOLF JUST CHILLING IN THE BACK.
God this makes me feel like a fucking top 15 super spooky blah blah video youtuber.

Screenshot_27.jpg

By this point I killed the werewolf that was parked in front of this big locked door. Please keep a mental note that the werewolf was parked right next to that door for me. It will come up later this update.

Anyway we have to go up those stairs. Which is a loading screen.

Screenshot_28.jpg

Just to be met with another door which is another loading screen.

Screenshot_29.jpg

Screenshot_30.jpg

The lockers have nothing in them. I don't think any locker we see from here to the end has anything in them. I question why they hid stuff in them in the first disc if they stop doing it disc 2.

Screenshot_31.jpg

I want to note this ammo here is new.

Screenshot_32.jpg

Hmm but what could .308 go to. Fun Fact the weapon isn't a rifle this new ammo goes to.

Screenshot_33.jpg

Also to note make sure you go down this way.
Screenshot_34.jpg

This is a important item here.

Screenshot_35.jpg

I mention this because if to the left of where we got that new ammo type this happens.

Ahhhhh!.gif

The goofy animation of his fall. Combined with his AHHHHHH!

Follow it with

Ahhhhh! 2.gif

Him getting up slowly walking back while doing his best fighting game stun animation impression.

This lends well into the thoery this game might be a parody. But I don't think that completely the case in the end.

Screenshot_36.jpg

Here the thing that key I picked up before this. I have no idea what happens if you fall down ( or if you can) with out the key. It only came to mind wondering while getting the screen caps. Maybe when it comes time for the special mode, I will test to see what happens if I don't grab the key.

Screenshot_37.jpg

Screenshot_38.jpg

Screenshot_39.jpg

Screenshot_40.jpg

Just sounds like it's that time of the month

Screenshot_41.jpg

I think this paper is just another connection to the game before this one.

Screenshot_42.jpg

This room is also a save room.

Screenshot_44.jpg

Screenshot_45.jpg

Screenshot_46.jpg

That doesn't sound like vampires at all. Would seem the werewolfs have been a problem for some time.
Also

Screenshot_47.jpg

While this is a side note, and has nothing to do with this game. Did you know in Sonic CD Amy was only 8 years old when she first met sonic.

Screenshot_48.jpg

Outside the save room we find our new location, The town.

Screenshot_49.jpg

This door here is locked. Just across from it is

Screenshot_50.jpg

A car that just there to add to the design of this place.

Screenshot_51.jpg

Just outside the save room door is this bigger door, that the werewolf was infront of on our way here.

To our left

Screenshot_52.jpg

Is this cabin. further up is

Screenshot_53.jpg

Another cabin. This one is also locked but we have the key.

Nice placement.gif

Screenshot_55.jpg

Yes the game literally spawns it right next to the door.

Not even the only vampire in here.

Screenshot_56.jpg

I do like the new vampire look.
Screenshot_57.jpg

Screenshot_58.jpg

The first locked cabin's key.

Screenshot_59.jpg

This is the one cabin I mentioned that was already unlocked.

Screenshot_60.jpg

Screenshot_61.jpg

This is part of the reason I think this area in general is the hump of the game. The other part I will explain when we get to it.

But with this, it's very much a lot of tiny areas with enemies already up your ass. I don't mind the small areas I do mind the enemies spawn locations.

I don't feel horror when they spawn a enemy so close to me when I enter a room, I feel annoyed.

Screenshot_62.jpg

These are the two in the hidden room to the side of the door we came in, you could see one of them poppin out as I was dealing with the second red shirt vampire.

Screenshot_63.jpg

Looking like a evil within screenshot more then countdown vampires.

One of the items we find in this side of the cabin is.

Screenshot_64.jpg

Doesn't look like a notebook but let's roll with it.

Screenshot_65.jpg

Vampire club? Does this mean that the NUMBER ONE RULE IN THIS GAME, NEVER CALL EM BY THEIR REAL NAME!

Well that fills my Voltaire mention quota for this year. Surprised I didn't mention him sooner.

Screenshot_66.jpg

Marlin town is the official name of this location.

Screenshot_67.jpg

Gells family.jpg

The Gells Family coffin.jpg

The more we learn of Gells and his family the less I want to meet him.

Screenshot_68.jpg

Hmmmmm dark hunter? Surely this can't be related to tall dark, and *growls* we keep meeting.

Screenshot_69.jpg

Screenshot_70.jpg

We also get a map of the town.

Screenshot_71.jpg

As silly as this looks the reason we can't see that one cabin in the bottom right of the top is, it has its own map.

Screenshot_72.jpg

If we check the side hidden room the 2 vampires popped out of.

Screenshot_73.jpg

We find a new gun.

Screenshot_74.jpg

Wikipedia says It uses 7.62×51mm ammo, which is a type of .308
Screenshot_75.jpg

This is by far the worst fucking in the game. Yes Even worse then the hand gun. Hell I would want to use the hand gun over this in all cases.

I will show this gun a bit off, later in the update.

Screenshot_76.jpg

Keep this in mind because it plays into the gimmick of this gun, and it's only one part of why it's shit.

Screenshot_77.jpg

Anyway let\s go into the last cabin.

I checked the first frame for this scene and I was amused.

Screenshot_78.jpg

:story:

Screenshot_79.jpg

Screenshot_80.jpg

Thank god it wasn't the COUNTDOWN VAMPIRES, and just normal vampires.

Screenshot_81.jpg

We are at the part where even Keith wants to get rid of her.

Is it just me, or did she sound disappointed, disappointed in the Keith not falling for her nonsense way.

Let's go inside proper.

Screenshot_82.jpg

See that grey splotch that is under the bugman, yeah that's a hidden trap door to the basement.

Screenshot_83.jpg

I don't mind this, as they was pretty far away, and this is how they guys are designed to jump long distances at you.

Screenshot_84.jpg

This mid action shots make this game look really cool.

Screenshot_85.jpg

You can see a better shot of it here. We need to head to the right first.

Screenshot_86.jpg

Screenshot_87.jpg

Screenshot_88.jpg

Screenshot_89.jpg

Top and side door here are unlocked, the bottom one needs a key.

Screenshot_91.jpg

Screenshot_92.jpg

I don't show what the map looks like, as we basically know all the rooms. I have no idea why they felt like adding a dedicated map for this cabin.

Screenshot_93.jpg

This is a important clue to solving a puzzle.

Screenshot_94.jpg

Screenshot_95.jpg

Screenshot_96.jpg

Hmm the instruction book.

Screenshot_97.jpg

Let's check the other unlocked room then.

Screenshot_98.jpg

Screenshot_99.jpg

This is what he meant by instruction book.
Screenshot_100.jpg

Keep this in mind for when the puzzle shows up.

Screenshot_101.jpg

Screenshot_102.jpg

We get a key to the chainsaw but can't get there with the main door locked, and the stair hallway broken.

Screenshot_103.jpg

Just ammo, and or Hp, but still nice to show it is here.

Screenshot_104.jpg

Does anyone call a bathroom a BATHING AREA?

Screenshot_105.jpg

Let's go down the hatch to the basement.

Screenshot_106.jpg

God damn it.

Screenshot_107.jpg

The door here is locked.

Screenshot_108.jpg

Screenshot_109.jpg

Have you figured it out how to solve this puzzle?

Screenshot_110.jpg

Look at the list of bourbon years and look for the ones with a check mark.

Then take the number that year has in order.

I'll rather take this kind of mind puzzle then that fucking clock puzzle.

Screenshot_111.jpg

Poor vampires....Locked in this room.... How did they get here?

Screenshot_112.jpg

Keep in mind that wine rack to the right.

Screenshot_113.jpg

Bathing room? No No Now it's a shower room. Game can't even keep room names straight.

Screenshot_114.jpg

inside we find.

Screenshot_115.jpg

Someone left a empty bottle in here and locked it.

Screenshot_116.jpg

See this barrel in the back. You can examine it.

Screenshot_117.jpg

Use the empty bottle.

Screenshot_118.jpg

This one goes out to @Mary the Goldsmith . May your liver never fail.

Screenshot_119.jpg

With a filled bottle we can now use it with the wine rack.
if you happen to examine it before hand

Screenshot_120.jpg

Screenshot_121.jpg

Screenshot_122.jpg

Can we take a moment here. How does Keith know this? The barrel didn't tell us what year the bourbon was, and this bottle was empty.

Did he just fill the bottle and assumes if the label says 1850, then it has to be 1850 no matter what you put in? Or is Keith a Bourbon snub? Man can take a drink and know the year it was bottled.
:story:

Putting it on the rack and suddenly we turn into classic scooby doo.

I will like to remind you guys this is just in the cellar of a guy who really likes bourbon.

Screenshot_123.jpg

Screenshot_124.jpg

What? huh? Why are bugmen down here? This was behind a hidden wall, which requires quite a few keys and a puzzle or two to solve to open, how the heck did they get down here?

Screenshot_125.jpg

Screenshot_126.jpg

That explains it, they went down the hidden back door.

Screenshot_127.jpg

Screenshot_128.jpg

Screenshot_129.jpg

Taking a small detour here but all you need to do is go up from here. But what happens if you go left?

Screenshot_130.jpg

Screenshot_131.jpg

Literally fucking nothing? Not even a item for our trouble.

Screenshot_132.jpg

if we went up rather then left we go here

Screenshot_133.jpg

Screenshot_134.jpg

We found the the graveyard the vampire club was talking about. Full of vampires.

Screenshot_135.jpg

A lot of vampires.

Screenshot_136.jpg

Up the stairs.

Screenshot_137.jpg

Once we get here something happens.

Screenshot_138.jpg

I think he is following us guys.

Screenshot_139.jpg

Not yet.

Screenshot_140.jpg

I just love the way he says this.

He sounds like a whiny 8 year old.
Screenshot_141.jpg

KEITH YOU DENSE MOTHER FUCKER. HOW HAVE YOU NOT PUT IT TOGETHER YET?

Screenshot_142.jpg

Gells this, Gells that. Get off the dead guys dick.

Also God damn the way he just backing up while saying this.
backing up vampire hunter.gif

Look at him do the batman disappearing act.

Screenshot_143.jpg

batman.gif

My god how is this man the best detective the police in this city have?

Screenshot_144.jpg

:story:

Screenshot_145.jpg

Screenshot_146.jpg

Take a guess what we need to go get to cut this. Did you say CHAIN SAW.
This isn't the first time I have seen a game use a chainsaw to cut a chain. Which Might be a pun on the name, or they really don't know what chainsaws are use for.

Screenshot_148.jpg

Also the chains he wants to cut keep showing blue electricity once in a while. This doesn't seem like a good idea Keith.

Anyway we go through that metal door we see

Screenshot_149.jpg

And find a POWER SUB STATION.

Screenshot_150.jpg

Screenshot_151.jpg

We can open the main gate and go get the chainsaw now.

Screenshot_152.jpg

Screenshot_153.jpg

Screenshot_154.jpg

Screenshot_155.jpg

In other words, Red to red, blue to blue, yellow to yellow.

Are you ready for the part I dread the most in this game?

Screenshot_156.jpg

Remember all those enemies I killed on my way here all the way from the start of the update?

Theeeeeeey back. THEY FUCKING BACK. (:_(

Screenshot_157.jpg

ALL OF THEM

Screenshot_158.jpg

FUCKING

Screenshot_159.jpg

ALL

Screenshot_160.jpg

These ones are new, so don't mind

Screenshot_161.jpg

Screenshot_162.jpg

THEM! AND YES THIS WEREWOLF IS IN FRONT OF THE FUCKING DOOR.

Screenshot_163.jpg

There a cut scene for going down the forklift.

Keith and his mind powers.

Screenshot_164.jpg

Yes all includes the werewolfs here.

HELL I DIDN'T EVEN SHOW YOU THAT ALL THOSE SIDE ROOMS, THE CABINS AS WELL HAVE HAD THE VAMPIRES RESPAWN.

Thanks for waiting.gif

Funny how the Werewolf stops when you start to climb.

Screenshot_165.jpg

Screenshot_166.jpg

Lock peaces out.gif

The lock be like

Peace out.gif

Also now that we got a chainsaw in a horror game. I am required by kiwi law to.

Screenshot_167.jpg

Screenshot_168.jpg

Hey Remember that werewolf we passed by? HE A BOOTLEG HUNTER NOW, ALL OF THEM ARE EVEN THE ONES I KILLED ON THE WAY HERE.

If I didn't already use the laughter turning into crying video I would have posted it here.

Screenshot_169.jpg

Now feast your eyes on this

The only thing this stupid gun has going for it is it can stun lock a enemy, but here the catch It eats the ammo like candy for tiny damage, and at random can JAM. You can find a replacement part later to fix the jamming but unless you are fighting a werewolf this thing is borderline useless.

Screenshot_171.jpg

I am going to end this update here, next update we will beat the game.

I think this part of the game is the worst mainly for this giant DOUBLE BACK TRACK. Like this isn't even a good use of backtracking this is pure padding by even respawning the enemies. It makes me want to put down the game every time I had to do it.

Next update wont be the last, as after it will be one last update where I show all the new stuff added in the special mode that change the story.

Have a Good day/night everyone

ah yes.... obviously saw that....
Turns out Keith is forklift certificated .
lol, I wonder how many vidya protagonists are forklift certified, I know at least Noble Six from Halo Reach is also certified.
Just to be met with another door which is another loading screen.
