Hopefully have an update around Mondayish, had to do my DF turn first. but I'll point out that Adam Ryland also does a MMA booking game which is pretty nifty, and has pretty damn good simulated fights. Unfortunatly, the AI seems to hate CM Punk for some reason. Poor bastard got booked against Henderson.

And here's an example of a fight, this one from UFC 208. The game includes an export PbP to text function which is really handy.

Allright let's do this. Our second TNA Impact. First off, in the dark matches we have some bouts with the undercard. We have Sasuke defeating Dax, and Shera defeating Everett. We finish with Reby Sky amping up the crowd in the only way the people who are actually dumb enough to buy TNA tickets ever would. With her tits and ass.

The televised portion itself opens with a short backstage skit with Eli Drake and Drew Galloway as Eli helps Drew get himself ready for the Main Event tonight. Next we have a meaningless match between Tigre Uno and Aiden O'Shea to get the crowd warmed up.

Following that is a match between La Parka L.A. Park (please don't sue us AAA) and the Blue Meanie. Before the match, the Blue Meanie talks about LA Park, while LA Park just stands there. The match itself is a comedy match, where LA Park finishes Blue with a chair shot followed by pinfall, and then moonwalks out of the ring, chair in hand.

Next, Helms appears in the ring to make an announcement of some sort, but before he can, Abyss, still angry about last week, comes to the ring and starts laying into him. However, the American Wolves rush in and attack Abyss, saving Helms. Abyss is manhandled out of the arena, and Helms thanks them. We then get a quick backstage segment of LA Park teaching some wrestlers how to chair guitar.

Our following segment is a match between Sienna and Gail Kim for the Knockouts Belt, so of course they need to screech at each other for 10 min for their 15 min match, becuase this is TNA, and we can't have too much wrestling! They insult each other, make crude remarks, and so on, before the ref makes a motion to actually start the match. Sienna manages to pinfall to retain her belt, because I'm not Russo, and I'm not moving the title belt on Impact without a buildup at least.

We then get a skit backstage with Scott Steiner yelling at Matt Hardy over being a idiot drug addict, at least, that's what everyone thinks it's about because nobody can ever understand Steiner. Hardy can barely get a word in edgewise, and it ends with Scotty storming off. It's not made abundantly clear if it's a shoot or a work.

Our main event for the night is Galloway vs Bennett. To start with while Mike enters normally, Drew grandstands and hotdogs for an extra 3 minutes. After that, him and Mike have an in ring argument. The match itself starts, and lasts for 20 min before Drew gets the pinfall on Mike. And that's the show.

It's exausting filling out that card, and tbh I probably need to get in the habit of using more timewasters like hype videos and such, but still, the storymaking is fun, even if it's just imagination combined with cold, hard, unfeeling number crunching.

Anyway, let's see how this show goes.

Some highlights:

Reby Sky basically showing her tits steals the show. We should've televised it.

jfLVDDT.png

Gail Kim fucking kills it.
P01T5si.png

The crowd fucking loves our Abyss angle so far.

hbNn07X.png

And the overall grade.

Z1YT2yY.png

As expected, since we are still working on getting the storylines up to the right heat level, we're penalized. The Blue Meanie is also dragging us down, and we need to get a better announcing team. We are doing a bit less good than we should in the Tristate and Midsouth, but everywhere else we broadcast is still impressed.

Now, let's see what happens in the managerial side. Also I don't care what I said earlier, I'm not fucking booking Xplosion. If it was up to me I'd fucking axe it tbh.

Anyway, let's see what WWE's up to.

bVw3aNf.png

Those rating numbers. *sigh*. For comparison, our latest Impact drew a .84.

In other news, we secured Rick Steiner, whose roll will mostly be to stand near Scott and help him look scary. Anyway, time to get a real announcer do we can get D'Angelo off the damn desk. And I already know who I'll choose!

2gJNFPp.png

Fuck you JR. Goddamnit, I guess we're hiring Cyrus Fees. He's willing to take $600 an appearance at least.

Meanwhile, the AI does another Xplosion, and I've been told that no, an E is about what you can expect from Xplosion as long as you aren't overbooking it with Impact quality matches. Unfortunately, a botched move in the main event between Robbie E and Trevor Lee gave Robbie a Whiplash Neck Strain, he'll be out for a week. But on the upside, we get Fees and Borash comes back, so we have an actual announcer trio again.

And that's week 2 of TNA.

Ok new update time. First off, smoen PM'd me asking what the best RW mod is. While teh one I use is my favorite for modern, the best, hands down, has to be Rising Storm, which is set in 1991, just before wrestling industry crashed in 92 because of the steroid scandal, and a few years before WCW declared war on WWF. ECW is also a year from it's debut, and Steve Austin is just a wee baby with only 2 years of wrestling experience. It has narrative events all the way to 2000, wrestlers and companies all the way to 2014, and more.

Anyway, our 3rd episode of Impact! And as usual, it starts with bullshit.

Or not, Aldis isn't a shithead apparently.

Anyway the show itself. Broken Matt vs Brother Nero is dead of course because Brother Nero got deleted for real to Rehab. So just pretend things happened a bit earlier and for all intents and purposes, after the backyard match Jeff got buried, literally, and is assumed "dead". So we need something for Matt to do while uselessly insane. The answer of course is to pair him with the only man as nuts as him Steiner, which we teased at earlier, but I've decided to make into an official fued. This will also result in a face turn eventually since we're a bit heavy on heels. We'll start laying the seeds of that fued tonight.

Anyway here's the show again, as usual, it's read bottom to top. If you guys would prefer I swap that around I'm ok with it.

We start off with our opening match, DJ Zema defeating Trevor Lee, and it's lead off by a usual in ring arguemnt between the two that delays the start of the match. After that is the Chelsea vs Rebel match, which involves Chelsea taking a bit longer than is needed for her entrance to show off her.. assets. It was supposed to be a sex appeal match too, but Challenge, one of our broadcasters, vetoed it.

After that, The Decay, including Rosemary, hype up their tag match against the American Wolves, which is our main event. Most of the talking is done by Steve and Rosemary, while Abyss just growls in the background.

We follow up with a segment backstage with The Dollhouse. They are viewing prospective new members, but none of them make the cut. We only see their reactions though, the women being judged are behind the camera. It has sort of an American Idol panel type deal.

Next we cut to an Interview with Scott Steiner, where he rambles loudly about Matt Hardy again. This time calling him several derogatory words that nobody can actually place as real words, and finishes by saying that he's gonna "Put him in the ground next to his dumbass brother".

We then have a match between Eli Drake vs Bram. It's uneventful, except that after Drake wins, and is going back up the ramp to celebrate, The Chairman bashes him with a chair, and does a dance before walking away into the crowd, leaving him to be attended to by the medics.

Following that is a segment with Matt where he declares that Brother Nero has been deleted for good, and will not be returning, as the Hardy Brand is all his. He does not make mention of the earlier callout by Steiner yet, other than an offhand comment about "freaks and simpletons".

Leading into the final 45 min of the show, we have the match between LA Park and Ec3, it's another comedy match with LA Park, intended to give the crowd a breather before we head into the finale of the show. Ec3 defeats LA Park by pinfall.

Finally we are into the main events. The first is a match between Broken Matt and James Storm, that ends with Matt forcing Storm to tap out. The match itself was intended to steal the show, but I'm not sure if they have the stamina to do so. It's a gamble.

The main event itself, is teh Decay and American Wolves. It's a match where Eddie Edwards puts on a great showing of strength, before, when he was getting near the ropes, he is attacked by Rosemary, and Abyss pins him.

Now, let's see how this show goes!

Eh, not great, but could be worse. The ratings however, are more promising. a .90, our highest yet!

Unfortunately, fucking WWE Main Event still beat us. I don't even want to think of what WWE Raw will do.

5usn817.png

With that said, we'll run till Raw for the news stories. First on the docket for us is that Matt Hardy is being used in a fued over at FIP. This could be good for us if it draws some heat for him.

IFtQBUX.png

Not much happens since then, so it's time to check the Smackdown and Raw numbers.

And that's it for this update, If anyone has other companies they want me to look at before the next update, give it a shout.

I don't really know much about wrestling, but I thought I'd just post in this thread to say that I'm following it and I appreciate it.
