LGR, also known as Lazy Game Reviews is a retro tech channel that's been making cozy no bullshit videos on old nostalgic tech and games for nearly 17 years. He's one of the best YouTubers out there today, reminiscent of when YouTube used to just be people making videos for fun and somehow managing to dodge modern day bullshit in the process.

He can also do an excellent Duke Nukem impression (better than Gianni Fagragrano):

LGR discussing the king of PC-oriented midi modules.

I can't help but feel like roland samples in the early 90s sound like 2000s keyboards but with autism – it's awesome:)

LGR and 8BitGuy still have a charm to their videos that a lot of these newer gaming or tech history channels don't. They care about the experience. They will speak of the brands historically and try to keep it neutral without being too "consumerist".

The destruction of the second hand market also killed off his LGR Thrifts series. A shame too, because unlike other YouTubers, he seemed to appreciate the things he found.

I do miss his Christmas videos. Rewatching them is something a nostalgic treat most years. I even watched his food channel too.

He can also do an excellent Duke Nukem impression (better than Gianni Fagragrano):
He did the Duke voice for Gas Gazzlers. One of the highlights in a hugely underrated game.

One bit of trivia that shows how well liked he is. When E3 leaked all attendees phone numbers. A bunch of game journos complained about getting hate mail and threats. Clint got well wishes and people giving him a heads up his phone number got leaked.

Cozy channel, wish he'd upload more tbh.
Any other similar channels that don't suck? Shocking how adjacent to troonery these sort of channels are
Adrian's Digital Basement covers tech from the late 70s to the early 90s. He also repairs CRTs on his second channel. Tech Time Traveler covers computers from the early 70s to the 80s. If you want to see what home computing was like when you had to build it yourself from a kit and had to scrounge a keyboard from a teletype this channel is for you.

Bringus Studios is pretty good:
(He's more like american DankPods tbh)
I wanted to like Bringus Studios based on his video content, but he's too much of the "talk as loud as possible" youtuber voice for me.

This is more adjacent to LGR, since it's repairs, but I enjoy watching StezStix try and fumble around trying to fix used (and sometimes very old) electronics. He's pretty soothing and calm voice wise like LGR, though sometimes he does this weird ironic rap thing he writes himself.

I enjoy his videos a lot, mainly those sims 4 content pack reviews just to see him shittalk them although with how long that game has received content for even he's gotten bored of talking about the game and I have too. Can't wait for his Sims 2 retrospective since that will be fun to watch whenever that comes out. Also I've recently got into his tech reviews, and yeah they're pretty good

He's another good OG YouTuber, a dying breed if I'll be honest. He's been smart all of these years to never mention anything political.
Which is surprising too given that he definitely rubs me off as a left-winger and I think he has given left-wing takes on twitter, but surprisingly he's managed to stay quiet about it in his videos. I did see that Not just bikes faggot in a comment section for a review of some robot toy that he made a few months back but I haven't seen him since, and that was just a comment.

More Fun Making It. Of all the British vintage computing YouTubers, he's far and away the most wholesome. He's a lot like Mend It Mark in that regard.

Speaking of, Mend It Mark's latest video is worth checking out. Something a bit different to the usual vintage hi-fi gear.

James Channel is also pretty comfy. He's DankPods' best mate, but he mainly deals with consoles (and makes some pretty wild mods).
