Dude always hit me as somebody who'd just do everything for money, stumbled over a situation where he actually got that chance, and now milks it for what it's worth. If something else would net him a buck or two more under the condition that he has to drop his current thing, he'd do it without wasting a thought. He doesn't really care about the content he delivers beyond what's in it for him.

I find all these youtube tech videos insufferable as 90% of them put one paragraph of textual information into 30-40 minutes of video. I don't have neither the time nor the inclination for that shit.

What makes LTT cuckface thumbnails funny to me is that you could replace the object he's grinning at with anything...say BBC, and his expression probably wouldn't change if he could make a buck off it.

I remember that whole room watercooling project being a really fun vlog to follow, with weird gunk invading all those expensive computers.

While that was a cool project, I couldn't fucking believe that they didn't use cooling water additives (and possibly filters) to control metal oxidation and algae, especially since they were mixing aluminum and copper. That shit is water cooling 101. There is plenty of information on what happens otherwise.

But the worst part of GamersNexus is when they try to be sassy or mean, they don't have it in them to really deliver. For Burke it can seem like someone handed him mildly spicy jokes at a roast and he can't believe what he is reading/saying. Nice content, no good at being mean.

I agree with him to the extent that it's definitely not a vital commodity for sweaty nerds who should probably invest their money more wisely, but without that market being what it is he literally has no content and no job so I'm not quite sure where he gets off on telling people they should just be happy - especially when he tried to justify it by saying "Oh, I have an old GPU at home and I don't take these cards home with me and I get along just fine". Don't push products that people can't buy and complain that they're angry that they can't buy what he's literally advertising.

Of course, outside of the occasional smuggery his objectivity is second to none, so no complaints there, and his public undressing of MSI and others are pretty amazing as far as actual worthwhile content goes.

Someone should check to see if he got money from the Canadian Government to start his business. I knew in the UK if you were a start up in the gaming/tech/entertainment industry you got some serious incentives and tax write offs for a certain amount of years. Usually around 5 years. TIGA was one entity/organization I remembered back then.

I don't think a shaved head automatically looks better than having thin/balding hair. But Anthony does need to wash his hair. When he first started appearing in the videos his hair was always so greasy.
