No wonder he is flipping his shit over adblockers, lmao.

They are also selling overpriced merch, like this cheap chingchong screwdriver for 70$, perfect for tightening down chastity cuck cages:
or this crappy, generic backpack for 250$:
Apparently he also was talking about it's not using leather because muh animal exploitation even though the screwdriver is still being made in some Chinese sweatshop.

It was about time he got a thread. Steve Burke has been a superior alternative for ages: https://www.youtube.com/c/GamersNexus

Edit: There have been instances where Steve called out Linus for his paid shilling of certain companies and being hilariously wrong in general, but I can't seem to find the videos after a quick search. May have not been in the title or description. May have been on twitter. Would make good content for the OP if found.
Steve provides much better content (actual content and goes well out of his way to actually validate his testing) but his smugness really irritates me. The whole supply fiasco with him talking down to his own viewers ("You don't need a graphics card") despite only being in business because these products exist rubbed me the wrong way.

His articles are top notch though, and they remove the smug aspect almost completely so I can't fault him or his team there.

I don't remember him saying it, but perhaps it was him mocking someone else's statements? That's how it usually goes with Steve on Gamers Nexus.
Shouldn't this thread should be in internet famous? Isn't this board is for non lolcow discussion?
I don't consider this IF worthy and also the OP is mighty shit, but if a moderator thinks it's IF worthy then I don't see an issue in moving it.

The thread is meant to be generally aimed at the entirety of LMG, and that includes various employees sperging out online. So mentioning Linus' race mixing and Anthony being a borderline lolcow is on purpose. I'd write up something on Riley but he's just an obnoxious presenter, I don't recall him saying something stupid.
Is there anyway then to change the title alone to be Linus Media Group and then below in tags put all the people's names.

If you are going to look at everyone there use that as the main draw instead of using Linus as the main course. The whole group is what happens when idiots get tech they don't understand and attempt to do shit without RTFM.

I hate the entire group and look forward to their inevitable meltdown.

I have a love-hate relation with LTT. A lot of their vids now of days are just Linus showing up expensive shit. Like Linus' new home and what he's doing to it. Yesterday was them showing off a $1 million server they got help to make with sponsers. He's pro race mixing (whatever) and anti ad-blocker (using it is not equal to piracy Linus WTF). Those really don't show up in his main channel vids. Maybe they do on his podcast or his other channels. Anthony gets a lot of coverage. He's charismatic sure, but he can't take criticism to save his life and you can see that on his twitter feed. I do like their product reviews and they do put out some interesting content here and there.

Dude always seemed extremely gay to me, with his little earrings, faggy voice and soyboy antics. I was surprised he had children, but not that it's a SEA monkey he's with.

Unsurprisingly the smooth brain also give his shit take on abortion.
He plays badminton and is from BC Canada, so he probably is closeted gay.

Lol can't even sell some cheap China sweatshop screwdrivers without soy cuckface on the thumbnail. Truly a sign of the times.

I don't watch all the videos but I can't remember him saying that.

But the worst part of GamersNexus is when they try to be sassy or mean, they don't have it in them to really deliver. For Burke it can seem like someone handed him mildly spicy jokes at a roast and he can't believe what he is reading/saying. Nice content, no good at being mean.

Hardware Unboxed should also be mentioned, good channel, Rossman as well. All combined along with some rando gizmo channel you will be more informed and don't have to watch LTT anymore.

The thing with Steve is that he has a very dry delivery, so even when he absolutely hates the product he still just sounds mildly annoyed, and whatever jokes he might throw are dry as Sahara sand. That being said they are good at saying when a product is bad and why it's bad, and unlike Linus they aren't afraid of losing sponsorships when expressing their minds because they have proper journalistic integrity.

And yes, Hardware Unboxed is another good tech channel, however Louis Rossmann is it's own beast. Dude basically uploads whatever the fuck he wants there and does whatever the fuck he wants to do. So one day it's a Macbook repair, the other it's a congress meeting, and another it's just his cats. I'd mention Digital Foundry but they focus on video games more than on hardware, but they do have good standards. And for turbo autists there's Buildzoid. He did a whole bunch of PCB analysis videos for Gamers Nexus, and on his channel, Actually Hardcore Overclocking, he goes super in-depth with the hardware. The guy can basically work as an engineer at any of the big tech companies if he doesn't already.

Sponsorblock is a godsend on these videos.

I actually like LTT for the most part. I remember that whole room watercooling project being a really fun vlog to follow, with weird gunk invading all those expensive computers. The channel is at its best when its doing stupid shit like that, and not when its trying to be IT for kids.

I dont watch to much of the current content. He should review some more RC fire trucks.

I shudder at the thought of what that red panda plushie has been through

Dude always hit me as somebody who'd just do everything for money, stumbled over a situation where he actually got that chance, and now milks it for what it's worth. If something else would net him a buck or two more under the condition that he has to drop his current thing, he'd do it without wasting a thought. He doesn't really care about the content he delivers beyond what's in it for him.

I find all these youtube tech videos insufferable as 90% of them put one paragraph of textual information into 30-40 minutes of video. I don't have neither the time nor the inclination for that shit.
