Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

The question is, can that even be done without Linus's "connections" stepping in to suppress any negative reviews.
I really hope AvE decides to review it. If it's shit, he'll certainly tear it a new one and he's big enough that Linus can't outright silence him nor will AvE respond to any "friendly" attempts to suppress criticism.

Honestly cant wait to see if someone posts a breakdown or video of the LTT screwdriver and how it actually compares to actual brands not marketed by a YT tech grifter
I'd love to see it tested by AvE and/or Project Farm.

AvE gives zero fucks, so any threats made against him by Linus' cronies would be like water off a duck's back.

Todd from Project Farm is objective to a fault, and he's extremely polite. Even if the LTT screwdriver is a complete piece of shit, the harshest thing he'd do is post a summary showing how the LTT screwdriver performed against the other brands.

Project Farm is also well-liked and is highly trusted. I have no doubt that Todd would insist on buying an LTT screwdriver with his own money even if Linus offered him a case of them for free. PF is the exact opposite of LTT in this regard.

Steve at Gamers Nexus seems to be testing the waters for low-effort LMG style videos, probably in an effort to grow his channel:

They've even started putting dumb whimsical music in the background.

At least Steve is doing it for fun and charity work and not purely for advertiser's money. In the beginning of the video he explains how the bet is to socket all 12 sticks or more in one minute, and if you don't socket all sticks the other half of the cash goes to the e-waste recycling place, and if someone manages to socket all 12 sticks or more in a minute then the recycling place gets a GPU from them for educating purposes.

EDIT: By the end he gave them all those GPU's anyway lol, absolute mad lad

I haven't played Angry Birds in like 10 years but I always thought at certain moments (such as in that thumbnail) he looks kind of like the white one.

It seems like linus removed the soyface thumbnail in his latest video, interesting. Maybe he got shit for the clickbait levels this time?

My understanding is that changing the thumbnail of a video is The Algorithm equivalent of bumping a forum thread. A lot of channels will change a video's title and thumbnail a few days after released in order to take advantage of this; although there's debate about whether the bump comes from The Algorithm's doing or if it comes from idiots not realising they're about to watch the same video again that they just watched two days ago.

In Linus' case, I suspect it's both.

True, I've seen many youtube channels do that stuff but within the same day? Those thumbnails are 5 -6 hours apart if i had to estimate based on when i saw the first one. If it was done a couple days later then yeah but to me the short timeframe points to something else being the reason.

I do think its overpriced but most brands manufacture in Chyna now (even alot of those who say they don't) due to the cost. Honestly though I don't care as this is likely going to be a failure due to the incompetent "wOrLd ClAsS eMpLoYeEs" that he's hired.

Look at Alex for example who's lucky he hasn't sawed his hand off cutting holes in computer cases because he fucked up his CAD models for the thousandth time.
Well wasn't Alex a first year droup out? I don't think anyone in LMG has in experince in relevant fields which is why it's so amuzing wathcing them stumble in the dark trying to make anything more complex then holes (in Linus wallet).

Oh our multimillion dollar company can't offer warranties cause what if end users are dumb! What a fuckwad.

The target consumer for YouTube channel merch is children that love the channel and parents, knowing their kid watches this crap, looking for easy gifts. I seriously doubt anyone older than 20 is going to buy one of these. Instead of kids buying Nickelodeon or Disney merch, they buy this crap instead. Different era, same game.

I'm sure this piece of trash imported fresh from a factory in China will sell like hotcakes. Can't cost more than a few bucks to mass produce this. Factory probably upsells it to Linus at 10-15$, rest is pure profit.

Still, for 60$, you can get the iFixit toolkit, which can do a hell of a lot more.

Here's another thing that Linus will never do as it requires having a spine: investigative journalism.
Also worth mentioning that Gamers Nexus doesn't have a fancy multi-million dollar lab to do all this, yet they manage to do this with what they have. Perhaps it's because they are being smart with their purchases, not big.

I used to watch LTT and I thought it was fine. As more and more members were brought on and upload schedules changed to literal hours apart, I realized it turned to the same quality as his new no-warranty screwdriver will probably be. The only person I even remotely liked was Anthony but that all crumbled when the fat fuck had too much fat in his brain to think for himself on the Byuu situation. I still followed LTT and stuff like TechLinked because I didn't know any tech channels at the time, but I finally stopped watching months ago and started finding better channels.

I didn't know Gamers Nexus as much before but I am glad this thread showed him to me. Just watching a single video from him, it's definitely a much better channel in every single way.
