I am not subscribed to GN and own nothing from them, though I do trust their testing methodology and check them out when I want to buy a PC component.

It's a bit silly an incredibly autistic take to say that just because someone is biased their data itself is false, with no other reason, without showing the data actually being false. Biases happen every day in all matters of research, that's why there's procedures to make sure bias is minimized and (hopefully) does not influence the data, and that's why bias is disclaimed in every type of research.

Data is data, regardless of opinion. Unless the data is wrong(i.e taken wrongly or flat out lies), there's really nothing that the conflict of interest really does. What needs to happen is the data and methodologies need to be scrutinized and tested by others as well. You're supposed to check out multiple review channels and make your own opinion instead of blindly trusting what some nerd says.

In comparison, do you not trust cancer research, which has saved millions of lives in the past decades, just because it's sponsored by people who profit from their specific drugs/procedures/equipment getting good reviews and being sold? Who do you think sponsored research into the HPV vaccine? Literally everything in this world has someone behind it who has something to profit from their research ending up in a certain way

To put it differently, if GN says he's sponsored by big color and explains what he does to avoid this bias in his research, then says the sky is blue during daylight when there are no clouds providing evidence gathered by a sensor, you can't just ignore the actual data, not point out any issues in the actual data and say "I'll just press X to doubt for no other reason than his sponsorship by big color".
