Check which parts are affected, ditch them, and replace the parts. There, I made more informative instructions in one sentence than Linus did.Linus makes a somewhat informative video on how to recover from spilling soda on a computer.
With about five million lawyer warnings about the power supply.
Griter Leaf kept the TV, removed his fancy projector in his theater room, despite the theater room being made to be light adjusted.
As soon as a new bigger one comes out and they send him one. He already "joked" during the CES video about them sending him that wall TV. At this point LTT is just something he uses to get the newest tech and prototypes sent to him.I wonder how long he’ll take to replace the TV with something new. His employees can unironically claim to be experienced in furniture removal at this point.
I personally can't see that happening in the future. Those "wall TV" aren't a consumer or something that has a high demand of it, they use very specialized and expensive hardware for it as there's not a big enough market for it, giving one to Linus hands could ended up leaking a few trade secrets that the company would hate it.He already "joked" during the CES video about them sending him that wall TV.

I got even faster solution. Don't put drinks on top of your PC case. Especially if the case has a vented top for airflow. I have never spilled a drink inside my PC. I don't even take drinks around my PC. If I do I sit them off to the side. This problem can be avoided if would stop doing stupid shit.Check which parts are affected, ditch them, and replace the parts. If they're watching LTT they obviously haven't learned to stop doing stupid shit (like watching LTT).This problem can be avoided if would stop doing stupid shit.
I watched his video and my first question, was who puts their drink near their mouse hand? Your mouse hand is probably your main hand, and I drink with my off-hand, so I don't have to worry about janking my mouse and hitting my drink. And even then, it's to the left and more behind my keyboard from my hand, so there's little risk of me hitting it.I got even faster solution. Don't put drinks on top of your PC case. My PC case is from 2015-2016. The feet on the bottom are round they have rubber pads and they keep the case about 1/4 of an inch off the table. There is no way for liquid to get inside the PC case from a typical spill. Even if you are the kind of person that puts your PC case on the floor next to your desk you shouldn't put drinks near your PC where if they spill the liquid will run off the table and into the PC. That's as stupid as putting them on top of the case. Don't do it.I watched his video and my first question, was who puts their drink near their mouse hand? The main issue with LTT(by the channel standpoint) that I can see right now isn't them being the biggest channel but their growth stagnated after all the LTT drama. Channels like veritassium, Mr beast, MBKHD and others always gets more viewers in every video while LTT videos are hit or miss and nowadays it's being more misses because they're pandering to the adhd tech crowdI doubt LTT will ever go anywhere. From what I saw his videos are still pulling in plenty of views and YouTube still shoves him in your face every chance they get depending on your current activity. His videos are still getting a million views. The one where she spills a coke in his PC is at 1 million views and it's only been up for 2 days.
Actual answer here, depends on the game I'm playing. I often don't pause shit when I reach for a sip of something, so which hand is dealing with it depends on what is less important in the game at the moment and what immediate action might require. If I need access to wasd/spacebar to evade/pause, drink lives by the mouse hand. If I need quick reflexes to shoot or click a surprise notice, drink lives with the keyboard hand.I watched his video and my first question, was who puts their drink near their mouse hand? Not to mention, their formula and content cadence is optimized heavily for the exact current nature of the algorithms. While no youtuber can escape the risk of radical changes in youtubes operations impacting them, LTT is particularly vulnerable. Having 15% of your traffic suddenly ghost for most channels hurts but is survivable. Having 15% of your traffic ghost on LTT is easily layoff time with the sheer number of bodies they try to support with it. And with the current state of ad revenue, youtube, and the general tech capital space, only seeing a 15% loss would be highly optimistic. The main issue with LTT(by the channel standpoint) that I can see right now isn't them being the biggest channel but their growth stagnated after all the LTT drama. Because cases removed that 5.25 inch bay, kids these days don't have the built in cupholders anymore.
My current case has a 5.25" bay. It's also well ventilated enough (including that vented top that somehow I manage not to spill liquids into) that with or without the glass side, it's cool enough I rarely hear the fan (or if I do when doing nothing extreme it means something is wrong).MAKE CASES GREAT AGAIN.
Are there still cases with multiple bays made? I only have a laptop so I don't know how modern cases are today in 2024.

You can always just cover the vent at the possible cost of some performance and thermal throttling.Second point, yes it would be better to not to ever be caught in that situation; although for people who have children this is unlikely.
