Frankly, most don't even care about size anymore. There was a period when the 'Cinema' experience was considered superior among normies, and that included the biggest of big screen, the exotic sound setup, the reclining chairs, etc. Now, it seems like the Cinema experience is considered subpar, and most people seem to associate good media times with a comfy couch and a streaming service. Good luck making Netflix compression look good on a 80 inch display or some shit.does anyone think most people really care about all the technical shit that a TV/Projector/Display device merits?
I dunno if this shift came about because of streaming, or because of theaters becoming worse and worse experiences, or because renters and apartment dwellers are less likely to see a five figure television as a viable option, much less a good one. But regardless, I more and more often see giga tv's associated with hood rats and cinema snobs, and nobody else wants to touch them.
