Same logic as Lienus saying adblock is piracy. It's not surprising that his most dedicated dentheads would say this.

Of course Grayjay necessarily does impact creators, but there is some question as to how much. It also grants an order of magnitude more agency and power to the individual who does not wish to be constrained by the arbitrary rules of any one platform.
Additionally, it allows creators who are at risk of being banned for no reason (literally all of them) to stay in touch with their audiences, as their Internet presence is effectively decentralized.
I only go into all of this autistic detail because this is the subreddit for "Linus Tech Tips". All of this should be common knowledge on a site about tech. What should be an in depth debate about technology is instead reduced to muh ad revenue, and nobody even mentions any of it.

At the end of the day, jewtube corporate has already sent Louis about three C&D letters over Grayjay. He told them to go fuck themselves and sue him. They didn't even bother trying to ban his youtube channel for this, because they know how bad that would look, and it might just turn a relatively small app into a considerably larger one.

...Not unlike a certain Canadian who would have been much better served by just admitting fault and apologizing instead of doubling down. Real estate is weird in that you can make money even from a bad investment you had to take a loan for. Particularly in a Canadian city the Chinese are quite interested in and which isn’t allowing any new construction due to environmental policies (like Europe). You can let the building out, or even sell it, and make enough profit to cover your mortgage (which I’m not even sure Linus has).

He also wouldn’t have bought it as his company, he would have bought it as himself the person or as another company, and rented it out to his main company. This lets him keep it when LMG bursts.

The issue that I see with honey is that the extension itself was setup in a way that made people uninstall it eventually, tons of popups and it didn't actually find any coupons or discounts so it just felt dead, most discourse about honey online includes "yeah I tried it but uninstalled it when it didn't find me any coupons and/or it was annoying"

Anyhow, he happened to be of the curry complexion (and needless to say had almost zero technical skills so we did not extend an offer to return, but I digress...)

Has LTT ever shared any of their Creator View demographic data? How much of their audience is based in India? It would certainly explain Linus irrational hatred of Apple products.
