I think this newest round of drama has changed something, I've never seen such astroturfed fellating of Linus before. He's said he wants his community to act like this and be nothing but positive, but this is so clearly fake it's hilarious.

From what I remember:
-He bought another building in his business park, but not with a loan (that was the badminton center across town)
-The previous tenant seemed to be some sports clothes embroidery/screening company and they took a lot of stuff with them, like actual stair rails making things not up to code.
-He spent hundreds of thousands to renovate and split up the team, putting writers in one part and leaving the labs and store inventory for the new building open space, from what I remember it took him years to just seal and stain the concrete floor
-He spent ridiculous amounts of time and money running fiber optic with his butt buddy Jake
-This was all going on the same time he was renovating his newly purchased McMansion

The feature is misleading, Anthony left at the end of August 2024 and the only change is the fact he has uploaded a video which does basically nothing to address why he was let go / left. Nobody knows the reason Tech Shrek departed, it's all just speculation.

What I find astonishing is it took him ~5 months to get off his ass and make that video. He's so lazy it's unreal.

it's just SHOCKINGLY poorly visible in general. some stuff can be kind of interesting since they got that 3d xray scanner. in written form, the data is infinitely more accessible than gamersnexus' screenshots of video graphs. of course you are required to question the accuracy due to LTT being LTT. but their latency testing and such for peripherals seems to agree with other outlets like rtings.

Not to powerlevel myself, but I work at a company which booth he came by once to do a video. He's not a massive dick to people, but you quickly get the feeling that his on-screen persona is an act and it's all-business for him (naturally.) Of course he'd at least be cordial to people he's doing business with (at least in public.)

EDIT: It's a big nothing burger. Coping, sneeding and talking about his feelings about tech and how happy he is to have found a bunch of other broke-brain tech trannies who hugbox him. You can tell he's been working on a fake semi-falsetto voice, it's lighter and sounds less natural. I always thought he had kind of a stroke face with one side out of alignment with the other, but with the lost weight it seems a bit more obvious.

He also doesn't say anything about why he was fired from LTT.
