It's quite impressive to have three employees on screen and not a single redeeming personality. These people should be relegated to behind the camera only. What does it say that Linus (of all people) is the best host they have?

That has to be one of the most unappealing thumbnails I've ever seen.

Who is this video made for? It's so bizarre they use the whole jumpcut zoomer style, reactions, and thumbnail when most zoomers probably have no idea what Half Life even is. This video is so all over the place and so disconnected from the audience that cares about HL. It actually makes me wonder how many people at LTT had a hand in making this. It just reeks of too many cooks, and likely cooks that have little interest in the video topic.

2/3kliks made a video on the same subject and he is 1 dude. The video is shorter, more informative, no dumb zoomer editing, no sponsors and he is clearly interested and actually passionate about exploring the technology, and not just a glorified affiliate marketer with a team of 60 underlings clutching onto the next shiny thing to farm ad revenue like LTT. It's crazy he can convey points faster and clearer in 4 minutes, than the 3 LTT stooges can cominbed in 16 minutes...

There's no way that he and his employees aren't reading this thread.
His motivation for doing so would be that he's a weird narc but honestly any normal person would also take an interest in a publicly-available forum where people gossip about them, following this thread would be a rare instance of normal behaviour from these spergs.

Actually Hardcore Overclocking (or Buildzoid) has released a video calling out Linus spreading MSI's lies.

Linus Media Group reached out to MSI (and ASUS), to determine if their 5090 models contained the design flaws which lead to melting power connectors. MSI's representative told Linus that the MSI cards don't have this fault and that only the Founders Edition Nvidia cards have this problem. However, contrary to whatever MSI told Linus, the design flaws are not only restricted to the Nvidia Founders Edition cards, but all 5090 cards.

Actually Hardcore Overclocking then goes into further details about the lies and misleading information MSI and ASUS told Linus. He then talks about how Linus has incredible resources yet does nothing with them to fact-check information he receives directly from corporate representatives.

I bet this is in part at least why he keeps sperging out about/to GN. They have a tiny team and budget compared to TrannyACKtips, but do a far better job with testing than Linus and his "labs" has ever done.

It's much more likely that they have a mandate to try as hard as they can to get style points instead of substance. By now LTT probably has a checklist of bullshit each video needs to have and they check each of them off one by one instead of giving passionate people a bit of freedom.

Beside that, HL2 RTX doesn't need 3 fucking people talking about. It's hard to beat 2/3kliks on that count. They really should've just had one person but its likely they also have a bureaucratic beast that has developed within LTT and appear in videos and add stupid edit shit ("that was my idea!") just to justify their existence.

If you've ever had the extreme displeasure and mental scares from having worked with advertising agencies and "clients" (i.e. Procter & Gamble, Nivea etc) you'll know what I'm talking about - a bunch of faggots with literally zero redeeming qualities sitting on their iPhones and laptops doing fucking nothing while a bunch of people around them do all the work, and they'll sit up every 45 minutes or so and ask for some totally miniscule and pointless change, just to try and justify their existence.

It's all fake pleasantries and a literal dick sucking competition to make the client happy. It is extremely likely that LTT has to do this with many of the bigger companies they work with btw, they will have marketing and executives insist they need to be there when they're doing shit and ask for totally mundane changes at the last minute while they sit on their iPhones and laptops doing literally nothing.

I'm guessing with the amount of people that work at LTT and the constant layoffs that there are people that insist on getting involved in fucking everything to justify their continued existence.

Linus went on vacation to Singapore, didn't watch WAN Show yet but that's where he was the past week or two and is probably why the content has sucked (even more) in the past weeks.

But here's a new AMD build with a guy who is living with his parents which is why the home actually is a mansion by employee standards. Sure feels like if Linus doesn't want to do these, don't do them or stop trying to find some angle to promote the video with, this one being a dirty computer and the guy buying a pokemon card pack. Fat Jake is there being annoying Zoomer with bad Bee Movie meme.

Linus sounds deader inside with each AMD upgrade video that passes, and his lungs have probably fully adapted to all the dust and gamer gunk he inhales at his employee's places.
