As for Linus being an exhibitionist; that video where three of his employees were supposed to live in his attic without him knowing; there's home security cam footage of him walking around naked. Totally normal shit to put in his videos.

LTT doing stupid DIY emulation cabinet shit, still manages to cost $2400 for an ugly cabinet to run retropie and some emulators, with some off the shelf joystick buttons and parts. As if there aren't other resources online to figure out how to do this cheaper(seriously, a fucking monitor, 2 speakers, 2 joysticks, and a raspberry pi is $2400 for this man? Yes there's materials and labor but come on) to basically have a toy mounted to the wall for some reason.

Meanwhile GN is playing around with new heatpipe designs in advance of a product launch

Anyone who buys a RasPi for a standalone static emulation machine is a fucking retard, especially if you're building a mock arcade cabinet or hooking it up to a TV. Used corporate/government computers will get you easily double the capability for half the price of a barebones Pi while also actually having the capacity to be repaired or upgraded. Seriously, for the cost of one barebones RasPi 4B or 5 (no storage device, no cooling solution, no case, literally just the board), you could get something with an actual Ryzen SOC or, if you're willing to buy bulk, you could get something like five HP T630 with 8gb of RAM and 16gb of eMMC each, the capacity to UPGRADE the fuckers' RAM and storage cheaply and easily, and you don't have to buy or make a case separate. Also, you get actual mainstream graphics hardware with drivers that actually get support instead of repurposed cellphone bullshit with garbage five-year-old drivers.

You're talking about an old thin client, not everyone wants to bother with fucking around with used hardware. If all you care about is the retro shit, most of that can be done in a pi zero but even a case and the stupid fan for a 5, $20 or less on amazon for the average person who doesn't bother to shop around? You can get one running for shit like this in 20 minutes, doesn't matter if the drivers are 5 years old when running a 10 year old emulator to play 20+ year old games.

Even the joysticks for this silly cabinet, just buy a couple cheap off the shelf that use sanwa parts but aren't compatible with the latest consoles and gut them for the components.
