The people can punish criminals. It doesn't take entire police force to tie a fucking poacher's knot and hang somebody does it?

The community can execute criminals just as well as the state. The people can kill those who have been a burden.

Any system that requires people to suppress their own desires for the good of a community will inevitably fail, because people are not built that way. People are selfish. People lack empathy. People are competitive. People are greedy. Even good people can't be good all of the time, and that's what communism requires. I don't trust most people to be good any of the time, much less all of it.
