Litigation Fund

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
$100 donated. I have put my money where my mouth vote is. I’m thankful to have a place on the internet where people will still call a spade a spade (or rather a tranny a tranny) - added bonus, mocking the insanity with others makes me feel less alone in this crazy world. Thanks to Null and all others that make it possible.
There is pretty much no other place where you could effectively mock such insanity in this crazy world. I came here because I know this community is one of the last few sane people in our insane world so that's why this site means a lot to me.

I know this was asked at some point by some other user, but is there a salt thread about the site's legal fund? If not, is there enough seething from the usual suspects on xitter to warrant a thread for it?
I'm really craving for some unhinged tranny and sektorite salt, like in 2016 when Trump won.
My nigga

I'm debating if I want to show disbursements on the site. It's a way to add transparency, but I also don't want it to become gameified by oppo and turn the green bar into a sort of healthbar.
A transparency report may be better, distributed quarterly or bi-annually to the forum if lolcow LLC is not under active litigation (optimistic I know on the active litigation part).

But you’re right about the website part. That will be just another measure for people to nefariously track and could be hijacked by bad actors like a health bar for a boss fight or something. It’s stupid, not grounded in reality, but when your opponents are deranged literally anything is possible.

If they’ll track feverishly track ASN peers and ICMP statistics, they’ll do just about anything.

I agree, it’s definitely more worrying for the opponents if all they know is the sizeable initial budget, and the potential effect it could have on *their* case. If you give any breakdown at all, people like @dropkiwifarms will spend days obsessing over it and providing copium about the specifics. Keep em guessing.

This is an ideological fight to annihilatio ,and there is no room for weakness to be shown. Null cannot let his kinder instincts rule the day. You cannot compromise with an inflexible and intractable evil.

Let your motto be: Peace through power; magnanimity in victory. Primo Victoria.

There is no generosity to be shown in a war; only fairness and an even hand of aid to be offered to a fellow man who chooses to be reasonable. Let your legacy be the just system built after the conflict and the ghosts of conflict rest in peace while the evil bastards rot in hell.

Donated $5 because that's all I can do until I get paid... when I do get paid, I'll probably donate a bit more.

If this doesn't play out in the favor of Null and this site, I fear what the internet will become.
And to prove I'm forreal about donating and being broke:

I did my part, I like the AI dog. View attachment 5693607

Every little bit helps.
I 100% agree that every little bit helps. The way I view this is that if we (meaning Josh, Kiwi Farms, the userbase, etc.) lose in court, we're heading for China-style internet... no freedom of speech, and you're FUCKED if you speak against the status quo.

I'm aware that some anti-freedom countries (like the UK and New Zealand) are getting close to this, but I feel like this precedence in terms of American web moderation will at minimum slow things over there... potentially helping things reverse course.

When we see you driving around in a ferrari snorting fine-grated European cheese from a hooker's bottom, we'll start to worry. For now, I think the sheer number of donations shows you largely have our trust.

Frankly, nobody would go through what you've been through for their own profit.

I'd be and have been horrendously disturbed when KiwiFarms has been deplatformed from the internet many times. How could they keep getting away with abusing the power of the internet?

I think this lawlsuit is a big waste of time and Null will end up spanked in court.

Epik isn't obligated to host things it does not like and suing them because they mocked you on Twitter would earn you a thread if you were anyone else. Calling ISPs and begging them to deplatform transphobes is not a crime. Digital Faggot Foundation has experience in the Supreme Court so I think they can squash 1 lawyer representing Stormfront for 40 Year-Old Spinsters.

If I was Null I would take whatever money this bake sale earns, close the site tomorrow and go spend the rest of my life in South America with a new identity. Get at least one W out of this thing that's ruined your life for so long. The user base can cope and seethe as they drag their feet back to /pol/ to get buried by robots.
Shut the fuck up retard

It's really something when people are actually able to give money to the site without jumping through hoops. Not only is the fund funded, but it's on its way to double. I hope null is one day able to take donations like a normal site.
One can hope, after the lawsuits start, the banks will reconsider their position on cutting Josh out of the system, now that he's shown that he's fully willing to sue to protect his rights. It's a bit of a starry eyed dream, but it's looking more real the bigger that fund gets. I'll probably donate more myself next paycheck.

If there is any possible way it could benefit your opponents in any tiny way I'd say don't do it, but if you wanted to break it down without gameifying it, maybe just a very loose text breakdown of what each element of the process costs? Kind of like how Kickstarters breakdown what they intend to use the funds for.

I think it could be interesting to give people an idea of the scale of taking something like this to court, but I'm not so interested that I'd want to hand troons any potential ammo or turn it into some season pass shit.
And under that second health bar? A third health bar.
When do the lootboxes get introduced? I need a hat for my avatar.
Really not helping the idea that this site is the last boss of transphobes with multiple heath bars lol.
When the donation bar is emptied Josh splits open and Terry A Davis comes out.
