My donation from yesterday. Will donate another 50, and will probably donate again at various points into the future. As has been said in this thread, lawsuits take years, and it'll probably need more funds.

Cloudflare's statement was crafted by lawyers to be vague enough to make any kind of defamation case pretty much impossible.
Really?? Immediate threat to human life sounds worse than "We believed this to be underage porn also." The most damning would be "You had child porn on your site." Ok, not true but it's a tweet that got a few views and was deleted. What about "Immediate threat to human life" is vague... from a large company that still hosts it on their site?

Did you miss the beginning of this, they literally said "You had child porn on your site." the later one was "We think this was the child porn."

@troonshine So I was on the donation page and saw a popup saying, "Anonymous has donated $100" which tracks with the update you posted.
Just wanted to point that out, sure hope everyone who uses a debit/credit card aren't having their names flashed on the screen, even if for a moment.

Yep. I quoted it. It's incorrect. Okay? Is an incorrect assertion (soon deleted) from a failing third-tier company worse than a multi-billion dollar company telling the whole world on their blog (still up) that KF poses an "unprecedented emergency and immediate threat to human life"? I don't get how that's vague. It doesn't name anything specific like "mass bombing" or "spree killing" but it cannot refer to anything else.

No, it always says "Anonymous."

Null is probably the only person or charity I feel worth donating to. In a world where politicians are morally bankrupt and many charities don't do shit when it comes to charity, Null is one of the very few people that actually sticks to his ideals and doesn't bend whichever way the wind blows.
Yeah, I like Josh even though his cheese ratings are complete shit.

i always thought they were getting bombarded with threats by troons and none of this imminent threat to life stuff had anything to do with either us or /pol/tards stalking a certain fart porn “queen”
Read the original. They do allude to the troons doing that...

Beginning approximately two weeks ago, a pressure campaign started with the goal to deplatform Kiwifarms. That pressure campaign targeted Cloudflare as well as other providers utilized by the site.

...but they clearly state that threats come from the users of KF itself:

However, the rhetoric on the Kiwifarms site and specific, targeted threats have escalated over the last 48 hours to the point that we believe there is an unprecedented emergency and immediate threat to human life unlike we have previously seen from Kiwifarms or any other customer before.

Okay, so maybe the italicized part after "and" does not necessarily imply those threats are on the KF (that could be refering to troon pressure tatics)... but this next part does:

However, as the pressure campaign escalated [from troons], so did the rhetoric on the Kiwifarms site. Feeling attacked, users of Kiwifarms became even more aggressive. Over the last two weeks, we have proactively reached out to law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions highlighting what we believe are potential criminal acts and imminent threats to human life that were posted to the site.

Cloudflare says they didn't even really want to do this but they don't have a quick legal way to resolve this:

But we need a mechanism when there is an emergency threat to human life for infrastructure providers to work expediently with legal authorities in order to ensure the decisions we make are grounded in due process. Unfortunately, that mechanism does not exist and so we are making this uncomfortable emergency decision alone.

So they continue to imply KF and its users posed such an imminent/emergency threat to human life that there isn't even the legal process to handle that.
