Litigation Fund

Right now the farms is in a very bad shape. It is obvious to all users that the site is very unstable and will fall apart any day now, morale is very low. I think if the troons keep doing what they are doing now we should fall within a month.
The DSP board drama has really made all the users upset and eager to leave as well.
Inflation is sucking the life out of us as well. Post ratings used to be worth something but now truckloads of them can't even buy a loaf of bread.

These are truly the end times. It's so over.

Cards are accepted, but the payment processors cannot extract their fees automatically, and won’t accept a “trust us we’re good for it.”
Also, chargebacks.

But that doesn't really explain why GFM gets to do it so easily and Jersh can't unless the payment processors just hate us.

Nevermind I think I answered my own question

I suspect a Go Fund Me doesn't actually go straight to an IOLTA but GFM acts as an intermediary. As a matter of fact I'm not seeing anything on their site that they support it other than the fact that you CAN send it to a trust account on the back end, so it may be the user simply saying "I pinky promise to put the money in an IOLTA"

Wasn't the Vic fund going into one automatically or an I just misremembering? Maybe it was also cause it was years ago and was not really a popular thing back then too, so now that it had become more common the payment processors are skidish about it now. It could also just be me trusting rekieta's word on it.

Sure it does. Payment networks tell GFM to ban someone they don't like. They just ban me if I do anything.
