This is absolutely true and more based than I could have imagined. KF users are committed to keeping this site alive. We didn't require some massive PR campaign and e-begging faggotry spewed out all over the internet. That said, its inevitable that it will get picked up by several of the usual people out there who seem to report on our goings on as if its their fuckin job. Total Retard War hasn't even truly begun. We're only in the Total Retard Skirmish.

I sent $50 on the first day, and I plan to dump a share of NVDA (when it cools a bit) to juice the fund a little more.

I've been fascinated by eccentric individuals on the Internet since I stumbled across POE in my youth, sometime before the Towers fell. I lurked until it was gone.

In a few months, my original "CWCki Forums forums" lurker account will be eleven years old. I discontinued its use because I realized it was too closely tied to one of my real email accounts. It seems hopelessly naive now, but when I created the account, I never imagined the greater culture war would so thoroughly envelop the "watching retards" space. All this time I've been watching, and had never once felt compelled to post until #dropkiwifarms clearly failed, and it sunk in that there was nowhere left to go.

This is the only website I visit regularly for pleasure. Somehow, despite everything, KF feels like it was birthed from the Internet I spent endless working hours exploring; a fragment of that limitless, captivating world I first glimpsed on a terminal in a basement data center.

It's insane to see that the fund is at almost double the goal so quickly. I haven't even had a chance to chip in yet, hope this stays open a while for when payday rolls around.
This isn't really a donation solely for the Farms, but for a much more pressing issue that's been bothering me for a long time.

Surprisingly little there. I don't have Twitter but it doesn't seem like there's much of a furor. I think the silence is intentional and they don't want to draw any attention towards the fundraiser's crazy success and the farms' current jubilant atmosphere.

Unless Josh added it manually, there was only about 2k USD in crypto as of 16 hours ago.

Cheques and money orders are still in the post, but based on what I saw ITT, there could be between another 5 and 10k coming in that manner.

Null said he was expecting substantial contributions in crytpo from some speciifx parties and he would process a manual update for those (and the paper currency, I assume).

Given the fact that Americans will be getting a tax refund soon, I expect the numbers to go up considerably more.

I don't know about crypto but there is no way it could include the MO's and checks. The address has only been live for 2 days. Those will take time to make it through the postal system and get opened and counted by hand.
