Congrats on successfully getting the founds for this lawsuit Josh. I'm surprised just how many people were willing to throw that much money for this. It has shown me Kiwi's will do anything to continue fighting for what they believe in.

One thing that does worry me with the lawsuit is the Rachel Maddow “literally” defense which was used to beat a defamation lawsuit from OAN. Thanks @Not Who You Think I could not find this clip or anything like it on Youtube.

I’m imaging a nightmare shit scenario where the lawyers representing Epik will go, “We already clarified that it wasn’t CP. We only saw a young person naked and we think a 19 year old is still a child.” The tweet that made that absurd statement is still up so clearly Epik stands by that defense.

I hate to come off like a doom poster but I just have so little faith in courts when obviously bias judges can just take an argument like MSNBC’s and clearly deny any logic in doing so.

Not like I’m a fucking lawyer so my legal expertise is probably as good as Balldo Rekeita. But IMO don’t sue Caraballo, that handsome masculine lady has a damn stint with Harvard. Whoever possibly represents Caraballo will likely be an established attorney probably one the Judge has met at dinner parties. The silver lining is Epik’s name is still mud. Epik is the one that spread the disinfo & slander. Hell if anything I’d portray Caraballo as a victim as well. “Oh this brave strong woman was lied to by this MAGA domain.” Not that I think Caraballo would ever sign an affidavit that would help a potential case but still a biased Biden judge I imagine wouldn’t be sympathetic to Epik.

I just want to voice my concern suing Caraballo will make national news. You will have the LGBT cult crying murder. Sue Epik and you’re punishing the people who helped 8CHAN!

It may be too late now, but a brief line about what an IOLTA is and a link to why it's important might be helpful if you wanted to encourage some lazy assed journalists to cover the story.

Oh, who am I kidding. Still, I thought this was a really important point and interesting part of the story that could well go overlooked. Any brief handholding to help somebody to get there when they might have not otherwised managed to do so might be worth the effort?

If you’re referring to “Comptroller” - that is correct and is basically the word for a high-falutin’ Chief Master Boss Accountant Finance Lord. Works for any large organization but is most common in government.
