Litigation Fund

Worth noting that this is the second week where larger donations overall came from money orders and checks compared to credit cards, at least based on my observation. I expected this to be the case going forward seeing as the most dedicated supporters of this lawsuits are going to use methods that Null haven’t yet been barred from as far as payments to the Farms and that credit card payments have dried up with small trinkles coming in until the last moment. That banks fagged up the credit card process is disappointing, but not shocking.

That doesn’t, at all, excuse what the bankers did to Null though. Absolutely horrible shit. I hope that everyone who saw what they did twice and want to donate more take this chance to learn to fill out money orders. It’s not as convenient as filling out your credit or debit card number, but it’s probably the best way to maintain your anonymity. You don’t even have to put down your real name or address (and you shouldn’t anyway).

Did Trans Lifeline changed the URL of the article about the embezzlement, linked in the "Liz Fong-Jones & Honeycomb" section of the lolcowfund page?

The link in the section is: https://translifeline.org/the-leadership-transition-2017-taxes-and-how-were-moving-forward/

Archive from 7th February, which is after the creation of this thread, with the full article: https://web.archive.org/web/2024020...ition-2017-taxes-and-how-were-moving-forward/
Archive from 28th February, now showing 404 page: https://web.archive.org/web/2024022...ition-2017-taxes-and-how-were-moving-forward/

The article is now up at the following URL, note the /blog/ directory. For some reason, it's dated as 2018, but the original article archived above is dated 2019 and several contextual references throughout the article refer to future events and milestones if it was posted in February 2018: https://translifeline.org/blog/the-leadership-transition-2017-taxes-and-how-were-moving-forward/

To be fair, all of their articles appear to be under /blog/ now, although they haven't posted again since December and there don't seem to be any other obvious changes.

I’m perfectly happy to mail a check like a boomer paying their utility bills next time.
You don’t even have to make the effort to mail it yourself. Usually your bank will issue a check and mail it for you at no cost. You can set it up in 30 seconds within your online banking.

Wait what, the fuck is that even called I've never heard of that.
This is from the Chase app but most banks will have similar processes:
1. Log into banking app

2. From main menu, tap Pay Bills or Pay & Transfer

3. Search for a payee — there are thousands and thousands already in their system. If they are not already logged, you can just enter their info.

4. It will take you through the process of entering the payee’s info. Make sure when it asks for a zip code to put the payee’s zip code (common mistake is people putting their own zip code). You’ll put the amount and can enter any account number you may have with the payee, and/or use the memo field to clarify.

The check takes five business days so allow plenty of time for it to arrive.

Mine just calls it "Bill Payment" but I can go in and setup literally anyone. If there's no electronic linkage like a real company they'll just send a check.

Thanks, don't know how I've never heard of that, makes a lot of shit easier.

Most people probably pay online with a card at this point or, with the advent of payment apps, use those. Of course this check option will not provide anonymity, but not everyone will care if their name shows up on a donor list that falls into the wrong hands someday. YMMV.

Null, in the unlikely scenario that the people who wronged you agree to make it right without going through the courts, do you have any secondary targets you plan to go after? Or are you just going to swing that 200,000 inch long dick around as a warning to future liars?

Ralph was really making a go at being put on the list with Potentially Criminal today.

How hard up is he that he has to solicit being sued to get himself back in the news for the Sektur?

Josh is at a point where his support is so great that he can raise 200k dollars just by asking because people are sick of shitheads like Epik and troons, with many people adamantly saying they will donate again if needed. What would be the point of sueing a fat friendless penniless Mexican whose largest income source for the last year was probably a Super Bowl bet on the Chiefs? May as well just burn the money.

It's not going to be about the money, other than one or two of the plausible defendants there's no money to be had. It's about reputation and getting them to stop their shit against Lolcow LLC which is damaging its ability to operate a legal US business. In my estimation at least.

So I guess it is about the money, but indirectly, making Lolcow able to actually finance its operations, etc.

I get your point, but theres probably a mile long list of shitheads who have defamed him and would actually have assets to pay reparations. Why go against a niche streamer with an average audience of 200 people (most of which are probably just hate-watching) legally? It makes zero sense. If you go with the "Farms must defend its reputation" by suing literally everyone, no matter how irrelevant, who talks shit about it then Null would have to serve hundreds of people with papers.
