I’m curious to see how many more checks, money orders, and cryptos came in last week. Here’s what we got last Saturday for checks and money order. Based on amounts donated in terms of credit cards, it’s at $159,431, which is a $2150 improvement from last week.

I still think we are going to hit $225,000, three times the initial goal, and triple ratio Keffals GoFundMe, which got $101,333 in CAD so we would need to make $303,999. In today’s term, that would be $225,101.03.

I have closed card donations.

Our credit card processor has complained that crowdfunding into an IOLTA is not standard. This is because there are fees associated with credit cards, including potential chargeback fees, which can not be extracted from the IOLTA. In short: IOLTA accounts are so secure and legally protected that the banks cannot legally touch that money, even to force me to pay their fees. This has their undewriting bank scared and they have asked we stop doing this - even though we've obviously committed to paying all fees and they have no actual reason to suspect we will not.

This is another great example of how the American banking system is fundamentally broken. There is not a single stone on which this industry is built that should be left standing.

Last Saturday, we received $3,549.75 in check or money orders from 17 different slips.

I will have an update on litigation soon. There have been four different papers sent out, not including the ones filed in defense with Greer. A significant update will come out this week.
