The last remaining vestige of postal banking is a great example why re-expansion of postal banking service should be instituted in the United States, since you know, bankers, who I gather are not very popular generally, hate it moving in on their margins and system control.

No way, public employees refused to deny the sources of their continued employment and wages being paid by taxpayers from generating need for them to be employed? Why would they possibly ever do that you think....

As to why Null gets nowhere when verbally dealing with people, it's most likely in my guess the fact he never truly eradicated the southern Georgia, redneck riviera accent acquired where he grew up that is prominent in panhandle territory of Florida, with all due respect. Yes, he has learned to pronunciation "ever" acceptably now, but the pacing and faint drawl still underlines most of his verbal examples I've sampled personally over the last few years and I think subconsciously this is the source of listener disdain being channeled towards him if they don't have prior knowledge of the situation with the running of the site.

So what's Josh's plan going forward with this?
On one hand, going all in on Epik now would be proving a point not to make unsubstantiated actionable statements just because some troon got mad.
But on the other, KF would be showing magnanimity to those, who were out for blood. I'm past the thought the forum could receive positive media coverage, but I'd be a good show of will for the newfriends.

I would still go with the first, but that's just me.

No need to force a battle you don’t have to. I appreciate Null being frugal here.

Hey now! You be nice. That totally real and not at all made up fever of his has obviously done more damage than we first realised. He is a well respected practitioner of law who has only ever been 100% right about every case he's ever commented on (including Vic's and his own).

So what if he's crashing head first into an alcoholic midlife crisis? He's fine. Totally fine, his relationship with his wife and children is fine. He doesn't even care what you think. His case is going fine. His channel is going great.
He's fine, better than fine, he's great. And if you disagree you should probably just go and kill yourself.

The concept was called "a fleet in being", and I guess you could call the Lolcow Litigation Fund a " lawsuit in being".
 
I dunno US law (nor that of my own country but that's beside the point) is Null entitled to damages now or would he have to resue? Or is the retraction just a way to basically end the whole thing entirely? The claims did do damage to the farm so being able to get damages would only be fair no?

It definitely underscores the idea that the Farms is no longer willing to be seen as a defenseless acceptable target. The troons and wokesters love going after targets they know can't or won't demonstrate the ability to bite back when attacked.

Now, there's a real threat of legal action with full funding by going after the Farms, which would force these goons into the legal spotlight as well as potential legal expenses, and hoo boy if there was ever a magic combination that would cause troons to wither and die, it would be that.
