If this is what $5 gets you they can keep it

My old man and I went to a recently opened Little Caesar's years back when he was having his car checked for emissions or something, so I have fond memories of the establishment... even if I remember the pizza, then, tasting of cardboard.

I think the only things I've enjoyed from there is their deep dish pizza (that I could get for $5 along with a drink as part of a lunch special) and their breadsticks (which are plain, but cheap). Their regular pizza is fine, but it gets cold and stiff very quickly.

I split one with my helper at work a couple years back and it was terrible, and I used to like Little Caesaers once in awhile.

It might've just been a bad location though, because I got another 5 dollar pepperoni from them a few months ago at another location and it was fine. I ate the whole thing tho. I can't stand reheated pizza. Sure, oven is ideal but it's still not that good.

Tho I will say, if you eat leftover pizza that's from a real pizzeria, rather than any of the chains, it turns out much better. Nothing like when it was fresh, but still halfway decent.

Remember back in the day, for some reason, it was "cool" to talk about eating cold pizza? I remember seeing that everywhere and I don't know why, or who started that nonsense.

Some FPS PC game from back in the day, IIRC, in the "special thanks" section of the instruction booklet, it said something to the effect of: and special thanks to all the late nights spent working, with plenty of warm beer and cold pizza.

I mean, that was probably just a joke, but I remember seeing people talk about eating cold pizza everywhere on tv and stuff.

Only place cold pizza belongs is the garbage can. That's even worse than eating microwaved pizza.
Never understood the appeal of cold pizza either, the fact that you kept saw it getting referenced is much like the 80s and 90s obsession with pizza with "extra cheese"

Why pizza inspires that sort of thing I have no idea.

Looks better than school pizza. I would demolish that whole pie in one sitting. I should find a Little Caesar's and just have a whole pie for lunch.
Anything is better than school pizza.

They're not amazing, but for five bucks you can defiantly do worst.

Like say, order anything from Domino's.

I've had it, pretty good if you're lazy and need to get pizza for five bucks. But you are buying pizza for 5 bucks, you can't expect much from it. You pay for the convenience rather than because you're really into it.

I haven't fully forgiven them for getting rid of the smokehouse pizza. The pretzel crust pizza helps but only when they don't put so much salt on it that you need multiple gallons of water to get through it.

It’s my preferred “mainstream” pizza chain. It’s cheap and is the most basic type of pizza. More importantly, they tend to balance the sauce, cheese, and grease in such a way that I feel like shit after eating it, but I don’t get sick nor have godawful heartburn (unlike every other pizza chain).

Our local LC was really good, the lady who ran it had been there twenty years. Unfortunately, they shut down when the KMart that housed them closed. Also, I don't trust Papa John's. Any place using a sweet pizza sauce is trying to cover up for it it being old and unrotated.
