Live Action/CGI Rescue Rangers Movie In The Works - Another one

I wonder how many kids actually sat through it back then, and how many changed the channel to cable/satellite or god up and played outside when they found out they'd been had and it was an anti-drug PSA? Curious because I was alive but don't even remember the damn thing.
I knew it was an anti-drug PSA but TV was just so loaded with that type of stuff already that I didn't care.

They had PSAs for everything back then. The child molestation ones confused me because they would phrase it "when a relative or someone you know touches you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable" and I originally thought they meant shit like your uncle raising you above his head and then throwing you into the pool or trampoline or some shit because that was my only frame of reference at the time.

I mean, you're not wrong, sometimes I felt like school never ended because almost everything had to be educational. In the case of "bad touch" though having to be vague probably confused a ton of kids, because how the fuck are you supposed to know what it really means when you're six or whatever unless someone actually spells it out for you? Most kids probably would think the same exact thing.

I remember a videogame called Narc that used anti-drug bullshit to market their game which was an arcade shooter basically about shooting drug dealers and stealing their dope and money.

By the Midway/Williams great Eugene Jarvis.

NARC, like Smash TV, was kind of just Jarvis making a much more bloody and rude modern update of his early classic Robotron 2084.
