Live Action Halo TV Series - Debuting March 24, 2022 - Has Paramount+ learned from the Star Trek debacle or will they double down? Time will tell.

How is it even possible that AI-generated Chief could have more character while critiquing this travesty of a show than the actual human actors who starred in it?

Sad. This is what an actual Halo series should've been. Not that Pedowood fanfiction we're "supposed" to enjoy

I only watch it for the fight scenes since they've destroyed existing canon with new sewer grade canon.

The show's fight scenes are not surprisingly not bad, but they could've been used in a different movie or show than something as horrible as this.

For those interested, Kiki Wolfkill did an interview a while ago about the show (at around 41:05):

Main takeaways:

-They got inspiration for the show from the ODST trailer (X – Doubt) ;

-They wanted to have the battle for Reach be longer (as much as 4 episodes), but had no money for it;

-She talks like ONI knowing about the Covenant coming to Reach and everything that happened in the show is canon (???);

-“Had a lot of concern” about Spartans being out of armor, but it was important for John to reconcile with being the Master Chief;

-Spartan 3: they wanted to humanize the Spartan 3s and use them to show more of the marines. Basically, the Spartan 3s are stand ins for ODSTs, I guess (which is sad, because lore accurate ODSTs would dominate the Spartan 3s in the show)?;

-Dead desiccated mummy in episode 7 confirmed to be a Forerunner.

Brothers and sisters,
Comrades,
Dear friends.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce to you that our beloved Halo TV show has been canceled by the wicked overlords of Paramount+.

May Master Cheeks forever live on in our hearts.

Sincerely yours,
Slurgle <3

“Paramount+ can confirm that ‘Halo’ will not move forward with a third season on the service,” the streamer said in a stataement. “We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the amazing crew for all their outstanding work. We wish everyone the best going forward.”
