If I had to guess Id say two things taken to extremes.

1. Association with virginity; The right wing lolicons probably associate their lust with the subjects alleged purity. Lots of right wing men want a virginal wife and to be her first time, and also a young wife. Its easy to see the wish fulfillment when it comes lolicon.

2. Wanting a family of their own: Right wingers want strong families, and to be able to do what they want with their kids (usually meaning raise them how they want). It would be easy to suspect many right wing lolicons would prey on their own daughters. This is also probably not mutually inclusive with point 1, but Im sure for some they overlap.

This weirdly reminds me of how certain black neighborhoods in America feel apprehensive about white people moving in, because gentrification leads to landlords increasing the price tag on rent, making it not only unaffordable to live for previous residents, but making it unaffordable for small businesses that rent out their spaces to continue operating. All the foreign food restaurants, niche grocery stores, barbershops etc. get replaced by watered down corporate counterparts, that charge more money for their services (which is particularly bad if you like spicy food, because the new owners will not only tone down on the spice to appeal to a more mainstream audience, but may reduce the size of the portions as well, but still charge more for it). As a result, some of these places have people going out of their way to partake in petty vandalism, shooting a pistol into the night sky or even harass or assault outsiders to discourage landlords from increasing rent prices or even bothering to fix the broken down buildings they own, as the higher earners will not move in regardless. This does unfortunately lead to the community cannibalizing itself and falling to heavy vices in the process, as all the people that do want to clean up the streets get mocked or branded as heretics, which prompts them to leave in search of better life opportunities and let the community decay.

There is a term to describe these self-cannibalizing places, it's called ghettos. This is the endpoint of gatekeeping in the real world and I think the prominence of gatekeeping online has led to numerous online fanbases to functionally become self-imposed ghettos for autists and degenerates, Blue Archive being one of them. Gatekeeping is not how you build a healthy online community. Neutering yourself and alienating a substantial part of your audience in the name of appealing to newfags isn't the solution either (just look at 4chan). There needs to be a careful balance of new blood coming in, too much and your interest gets hijacked by newfags, too little and the oldfags become insufferable elitists.

To a mentally healthy individual those characters will not be attractive at all even if they are wearing clothing that is revealing or are posed in a sexually suggestive way (gross). It is 100% possible to engage with media and enjoy some parts of it while finding other parts of it wrong and inappropriate.
