There were a lot of badfics that were torn apart and made infamous in certain fandoms, and most of them had themes of pedophilia, so on top of pointing and laughing, it was a way to expose pedophiles and spread awareness. Far as I know, majority of these old-school pedoforks have disappeared because they were made laughingstocks.

There was once a nerd blog called "Topless Robot" that was run by Rob Bricken, and he was famous for doing his "Fan Fiction Fridays" where he would spork badfics he'd find or was requested of. All of them were of levels of WTF insanity, but not all of them were soul-crushingly awful. Those ones were reserved for the really depraved smutfics, and some of them are still whispered about to this day. (If you want to know my personal favorite, this Alvin and the Chipmunks fic makes me giggle uncontrollably.) The Pokémon fandom has some really infamous ones that delve into the unthinkable, though some have fallen into obscurity. This is one of those obscure ones called "Adopting a Cute Bear Cub" where it was an 18-year-old named May Summers (not sure if that's the May tbh) adopting a Teddiursa and then doing unspeakable things to it. Rob naturally was losing his mind during the sporking.

Well, the author found out about the sporking, and thus gave birth to the site's local meme: "WHOSE RESPONSIBLE THIS?" (I don't know what Yiffstar is.)

Brickhousebunny claimed to be in high school, but it didn't make things any better for him as the site mocked him relentlessly. No idea what happened to him afterwards, if he left the Internet or fled to some dark corner to cry and either eventually grew up or got worse, but this used to be the fate of pedophiles on top of To Catch a Predator being big. Somewhere along the way, we stopped making fun of people because "muh hurt fee-fees" and that allowed pedophiles to slink back into the open where now they were "tolerated" because "progressivism".
