Well I was wrong about Gura living with her parents (albeit there was 0 proof until now), but why the fuck does she live with her parents???
It is very common for streamers/influencers to live with their parents. The long and short of it is
a) In this specific case, her parents live in Florida and Florida has no state income tax. Simple as.
b) Streamers are usually not complete psychopaths from middle class families and care about their parents. They will leverage the tax advantages to buy a good sized house and move their parents in with their streamer studio in the basement. Their parents are usually independent and not wigger hoodrats so its not a huge deal.
c) Since they can really stream from anywhere, parents are built-in house sitters. Fuck off to Japan for a month? Not an issue.
d) There are some tax fuckery you can do. If your parents are retired you can claim them as dependents which means the absolute raping the tax man gives you on Streamer 1099 income is lessoned.
e) You can do things like hire your parents as employees of your streamer empire. This lets you give mom and dad some of your streamer largess at tax advantaged rates. Have mom and dad check your email, etc. Basically its trusted people who can act as your receptionist and wave off psycho fans.
