Thread's funny, but anyone who acts surprised that putting large amounts of women in a single community would cause this kind of bleeding drama and backstabbing is a very naive and innocent person. And a fucking moron.
 
I would like to correct the terminology in the OP.
''Ita'' is derived from 痛い（itai), which means ''ouch'' or ''painful''.
いた！ (ita!) is also exclaimed when Japanese people hurt themselves.
This hints at the idea that the girls' outfits are visually painful, like how in English we call something ugly an eyesore.

In addition, 4chan's cosplay and lolita board is infamous for shitpicking and fights between lolitas, especially about policing whether or not someone belongs in the Hime Lolita (princess lolita) or Hime Gyaru fashion. The two are very similar, but it is apparently a big fuckin' deal to seagulls that you ought to get out of their lolita threads if you're posting gyaru unknowingly.

I think part of the reason why the lolita community is associated w age play/ddlg is because the face of lolita is sweet lolita and people dont really know about the sub styles until they get into it more since their plenty of lolitas who look cute and even elegant that don't wear pink bodyline dresses and pastel wigs.

This is why I prefer decora kei, not as much shit like this going on. At the very least your clothes don't have to match and you can be a colorful mess.

I personally enjoy lolita fashion and have a few dresses but when i tried to join their little fandom, it was horrendous. People were so nasty there and bc i didn’t have $300 to shell out on Angelic Pretty dresses, they ridiculed me. I was posted on their stupid board but they eventually took it down due to my age at the time. They’re literally just a bunch of spoiled rich brats who like to talk shit. I like the fashion itself but the fandom is simply terrible.
 
This is like an un-ironic (as much as I hate that term) version of 8chan /asmr/ but bullying exploited children instead of whores.
 
I also love how the lolitas talk mad shit on their anon boards but when you talk to one with a name attached, theyll pretend they’re all nice and stuff. They remind me of those PTA moms in rich communities. To be fair, they probably grew up with parents that had that mentality
