That's funny because mine was always coffee. You play up the casual aspect of it but in reality it's all a cat and mouse game. I had about an 80% success rate with it.

Good times.

No kidding. Just plainly asking someone else to go out for a coffee is a great way to test the waters, and have a friendly conversation. No pressure. It's more of a cheatcode than "negging". (Which I never really understood) :\

The problem with that... Consider what would happen if a girl asked one of these twerps for coffee: the fact the girl is asking for coffee is, in their minds, proof positive that they want a fuck. And the converse is they probably can't ask a girl to grab a coffee because they see that as a sexual advance and they're afraid of rejection.

I used to offer coffee at the art gallery by my university, because I can show off my appreciation of art :3

I don't think you need a 20 inch neck to be attractive, but a thicker neck definitely adds to masculinity and the appearance of athleticism. There's a reason "pencil neck" is an insult. Also, a thicker neck frames the face better. That thread is really no different than a fitness thread; I think it's one of the worst possible things you could have chosen that reflects badly on the site.

That's not how I read that thread. It appears many of them are highly receptive to the idea that a thicker neck is far more attractive no matter the person in question.

Regardless, are you trying to suggest that one should get surgery simply for being called "pencil neck"? Seems a bit extreme to me. For the record, looking at those pictures in my own clearly biased opinion the first three look very unnatural with thicker necks while the last three look slightly better. In the end however, I'm not convinced that it's not nearly as important a trait as you guys make it out to be.

I don't place a ton of importance on the neck; it should be at least average sized and you're probably good. But yeah, I think if you're "pencil necked" then you should increase the size of your neck through exercise. No different than a guy with twig arms going to the gym and lifting. Who said anything about surgery?

I just assumed surgery seeing as how that was the bulk of what you guys discussed over at sluthate. Personally I don't object to excercise seeing as how there are many benefits associated with it such as improving self confidence, reducing stress, as well as improving memory and cognitive functions.

As long as it is kept in mind that the size of your neck is ultimately inconsequential (except in extreme cases obviously) and improving your physical appearance through excercise should not be a substitute for good social skills or intelligence, then I have no qualms with that. This is sluthate/lookism however, so I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few of you guys strongly believed their chances of getting laid skyrocket simply due to a having a thicker neck.

Like I said, I don't place extreme importance on it, but I think it's a good thing to add to my workout routine. Appearance is why most guys go to the gym, health being an ancillary benefit. The post also talks about fixing posture which is important for anybody, looking to get laid or not.
