If the rent is only $1200 a month they might be able to pay it somehow. Housing costs are rising everywhere, even where I live that’s considered average for a 1 bedroom with no bullet holes in the walls.

I got curious because Christian fundies are fiercely against incurring debt, and it seems Mormons tend to be the same way.
That could be one possible motivator for Kevin’s parents helping them (if that’s the case).

It would make sense, they just sold their old home a few years ago to buy a dream home. By now they'd be settled and parceling out remaining money to fixing up things, helping their kids and other misc. things. Despite Kevin being wildly unstable with terrible decision making, his parents seem financially stable and supportive at the very least. I can't imagine they would let Kevin be homeless or in debt for housing or school. (His personal tab with Klarna/afterpay is a different story.) They probably ran to them last minute crying homelessness if the parents didn't cough up enough for the SLC unit and boom, that's how they got in. With Lori only ever pulling in like 1-12 likes on OF, none on Fansly and her low engagement on IG, there's no way she made it happen alone. I wonder if Kev did take up a job yet though. This raises another question. If Lori has to provide paystubs, she has none. If it's just a 1099 that Lori needs to provide then that's ok because what she collects on Only Fans will have all that since 1099's are for independent contractors & not salary wage employees. Employees receive W-2's
