I have to disagree. All this will do is lead to "yes, but" conversations, where they respond to any explanation with "yes, but right wing blah blah" and then throw accusationsof misbehaviour at him, to which he'll in turn respond with "yes but it's a forum blah blah", in a cycle that he cannot win because of the power imbalance that exists in the relationship.

Because he still lives in their house, they don't perceive him as an independent adult. Any push-back will revert them back to when he was a kid and they caught him stealing cookies; they'll see a recalcitrant child trying to avoid punishment; their response will be tailored to that situation and they will simply ignore any appeals to the contrary, because they're the parents and he's an irresponsible child. That power imbalance will always place him at a disadvantage in any disagreement, especially now that the nuclear option of kicking him out has been raised.

He's picked the right path, IMO: what the kids today call "grey rocking", or keeping his head down and disengaging from the whole issue until he can establish proper boundaries.

When your parents don't accept you for who you are (usually due to propaganda and groupthink) but you depend on them financially, you closet yourself as hard as you can for as long as it takes to better your situation and get independent.

That may not work with their parents. The whole gay thing wasn't 100% ideological like this because from the Christian standpoint they could still be "saved" and are people "on the wrong path" rather than dangerous heretics hellbent on murdering them.

It's more similar to the one uncle in our extended family who ratted family out to the CID (Predecessor to the MSS) during the cultural revolution and got several people executed, cut them out of your life when you can and before that don't say ANYTHING that taken the vaugely or the wrong way. It's a bigger issue in my opinion now since we keep singing the doctrine of equality and justice under the law for the genders, but many boys don't understand the practical reality is that genders are not equal.
My female teachers viewing me as a threat since like elementary school is a good example. Especially since a lot of boys hitting their puberty earlier than historically (This was an old study so if you have new info feel free to refute).

The female schoolteacher is going to be likely threatened by those males who are similar in size to them, or taller, stronger, than them. This is because the boys are physically more aggressive (Haven't learned adult gender-rules yet) than her, the "all males are bad" feminist teachers, the over-prescribing of drugs instead of teaching them how to control themselves, the result is you get an absolute clusterfuck in schools.

At one point most boys are going to have the thought, "Well they taught me that I was equal with women, but why am I being treated like shit?". It is a critical point in the transitioning of boys to men, and I think troons are the ones who couldn't remain boys (Every 6'5" buff looking mtf ever) and refused to become men (Rejected the practical reality). There needs to be a degree of guidance otherwise many end up lost.

The fact that some female teachers also try to bang their male students (and vice versa) does not help at all. Those people should be tarred and feathered.

I'd almost give you an 'autistic' rating. Black Butler is a franchise that doesn't shy away from grotesque, you either take it or leave it. Grell is a meme character, there isn't anything deep about him, he's there as comic relief (sometimes involving black humour). From what I remember, him and Madame Red were equally guilty of those murders, so there's that.

So I am not sure where to put this, but here is a minor white pill/success story. One of the three troons at my job decided to get off the troon train and is now going by she/her instead of unsuccessfully passing herself off as male. This seems to have happened after breaking up with another coworker that she was dating as I guess she wanted to be an FTM rather than admit she was a lesbian. Anyway, she stopped before she started medically transitioning, so she did not wreck herself with hormones and surgery yet, so at least she did not do any permanent damage to herself unlike the other two troons where I work (One started hormones, and the other one is not on hormones yet, but she has already had a mastectomy, WTF?)

The odd thing is that she seems a lot happier after stopping all of this, even if the two remaining troons at my job basically view her as a "traitor" to the troon cause for "detransitioning".

I am still catching up on this thread, but I think if somebody REALLY wants to crossdress, they can go right ahead. Granted, it would be a bit awkward if it is one of your children doing it, but what I think needs to be pointed out in that situation is that a boy can put on as much makeup as he wants, paint his nails, and wear the most over-the-top dress you can find, and it will not change the fact that he is male and will always be. If that is how you like to roll, fine, but nobody is going to mistake you for anything but male and it is going to creep people out, especially women.

The same thing goes for girls. If your daughter wants to be a drag king, tell her, you can wear a binder, a fake beard, get your hair cut short and try to speak deeper, but nobody is going to take you seriously, and actual men will think you are ridiculous and would burst out laughing.

Sad thing is, we had decades (centuries? millennia?) of compulsory gender conformity where parents had to restrict crossdressing to save kids from bullying or worse. Prepubescent girls got a tomboy pass but I don't think any responsible parent was letting an 80s boy run around outside in a dress. Where I lived, anything except jeans and sweatshirt was dangerously faggy and risking a beating. It sucked.

Then for a blissful few years (early 2000s ish depending on area and social circle) it was basically safe to let kids express themselves, and the worst outcome was some playground teasing and adults assuming that princess sparkleboy would grow up to be gay. It did not suck.

Now we've hit the age of the groomer and the best policy is to keep kids from attracting any attention from the glitter mob. And because the tomboy pass stopped working once Tumblr discovered pronouns, it's not just the sissy boys at risk this time. Insert tomboyrespecter.jpg.

It sounds and probably is a bit paranoid, but there are vultures out there desperate to trans GNC kids and the government has no interest in stopping them. It makes me wonder about how long it will be before public schools in my country (the US) have routine, yearly, "trans screening" like they do with hearing, vision, or head lice checks.

In this case they would bring children in one at a time to meet with the counselor who asks them a series of questions to see if they might be trans. If the child answers the questions in a certain way, the counselor would then call the child's parents and recommend transitioning for their son or daughter.

It sounds farfetched, but I am not sure how long this "trans" fad is going to continue as it seems as popular and groundless as the lobotomy and phrenology movements were and it shows no sign of stopping.

School uniforms are pretty common all around the world. These sorts of things happen because kids are psychopaths. It has nothing to do with the uniform.
