I've always felt the Freak made that video specifically for a young nursing student in Spokane that showed up on his FB. At her school she had been given a list with names of men in Spokane considered dangerous/a threat to women and the Freaks name was on it. She'd found his FB and was there to see what he was about. She caught the Freaks attention. He made that video and tagged her. I believe he made that video thinking it was going to impress her. He did end up blocking her after someone asked her if she would date the Freak and he didn't like she side stepped the question.

What I remember is she said flyers were being given to the women at her school with the names, Lucas being 1 of them. I don't remember if she said who made the list and what school she was attending. There are 3 schools that offer a nursing program in the Spokane area-- SCC, Washington State University, Gonzaga University.

tbh that was a pretty stupid move on her part. You'd think a nursing student would have enough brains to know better than that. When someone gives you a list of people who aren't safe to be around and should be avoided like that the common sense thing to do is to avoid them, not go out of your way to dig around on their fb page and get deliberately try to attract their attention. Thats how bad things end up happening to people and how you can provoke someone into stalking you. Its the very thing said list was trying to discourage. Either she's an idiot or was deliberately trying to fuck with him, i'm not sure which is more concerning from somebody who is trying to become a nurse. Thinking about it, thankfully Lucas is no where near the level of intelligence and dedication as Keyes. Usually serial killers aren't the brightest people around, and while I can't find even a estimated IQ for Keyes, but he was smarter than others. The guy was dedicated and methodical, his kill kits are still popping up, the fbi has said that they can't even give an estimated body count. He had said he would give his complete account, but he only did one or two explantation. If he hadn't experienced the manic phase every serial killer goes through, and stopped his usual mo, he'd still be out there killing. I think if Lucas was capable of stringing together a understandable sentence, he could be the next Keyes. What's funny, a shit load of aerial killers, are from Washington or are connected to it somehow. Keyes first duty station was Lewis. It's a bit sad that the hood curse didn't kill him. Like I personally knew a guy that was stationed in 2/75, and Tacoma police are still chasing leads that he was a serial killer. For some reason, 2/75 is always fucking up. Always. Lucas wouldn't last long as a serial killer. Even if he wasn't prohibitively mentally ill in a manner that would prevent him from doing it, he's legitimately stupid while being narcissistically overconfident as to his own capabilities and would get caught very quickly. That said, lucas's constant attempt to get pity points from women by bringing up his injured feet and such reminds me of bundy manipulating women by using crutches and pretending to be injured so they'd help him to his car, where they'd get a tire iron to the head. That is something I could see lucas doing so he could do rapey shit if he wasn't so incompetently fucked in the head

As a side note related to catfish, I caught a new show on Amazon prime called Underage Undercover (I think) about a nonprofit group in Connecticut that catfishes men going after teens online. Their argument is that “time that these dudes are talking to us is time that they can’t be approaching real teens” but I have always felt like the issue is that unless the guy gets locked up, it could make the guy more unsafe in the long term, as it (1) validates the delusion that hot 14 yo online really want to sex 55 yr old grandads and (2) seems like it could easily frustrate someone enough that the dude might lash out as easier targets, like his own kids/neighbors/etc when the hot 14 yo ghosts him. Certainly, those are my two primary reasons why I support not catfishing Lucas. He’s already delusional and unstable as it is. But now I’m wondering if he were to lose his feet, he’d be way less of a real life threat and just a threat to poor girls he sends his micro penis pic to. In that reality, I’m not too terribly against people just catfishing Lucas so frequently that 99% of his interactions are just catfish. I’m guessing that’s not too far from where he is now though…

Yeah I never really understood what they were trying to accomplish with those decoy groups either. I mean sure some report them to the cops but most don't and even the ones that do usually fuck things up enough that any evidence they get can't be used in court anyway. It tends to be people who are fucked in the head themselves and targeting pedos to fuck with them cause nobody gives a shit about pedos. I have had interactions with college kids frequently enough to know some of those girls can be anywhere from 18 to 21 starting in college.
I'd see people young and dumb doing this bull shit considering that in fact college is insanely boring from Monday to Friday and something like Lucas puking is a great pastime for you if you're not very social in college.

We do know the Freak is violent and already has a DV conviction. He got banned from HOC when in a rage became verbally abusive toward the young nurse and the other women staff. Security had to intervene. And this was in front of other people at the shelter. As he gets older, more desperate, he'll be building more rage. The point being, the entire idea behind giving a woman a list like that is explicitly so that she knows to stay away from the people on it. Going out of her way to do the exact opposite is something only an idiot would do. She doesn't know who might be a threat to her or not, but the fact that they're on such a list should be a big indicator that they are. I don’t know why but I’m super offended that you’d even compare the two.

Full disclosure, I lived in Anchorage when Keyes did (and when James Dale Richie did) so I felt particularly obsessed with both as it’s weird to be in a pretty small area with two active serial killers, and I have friends who worked with Keyes’s GF (not a PL, Alaska is just small in terms of population. Everyone is connected somehow).

Keyes is light years more intelligent and aside from being fairly impulsive (at the end) and very sexually deviant. Yes, Israel Keyes’ suicide note feels melodramatic. But not for the teenage immaturity that Lucas embodies. Instead, I attribute his gothic-y note tone to his psychopathy, narcissistic ego, and belief that he’s superior and the most important person alive, which is sorta Lucas, but not psychopathic. Lucas is incredibly emotional, but not empathic. Sexual sadists, like Keyes, are pretty empathic—they just don’t care. The whole point of sadists is wanting to inflict pain. So they are actually pretty attuned to the emotions of others (theory of mind is intact)—they just don’t care that it causes the victim pain. It doesn’t make them stop. It makes them keep going. Lucas lacks any ability to recognize the emotions or wants of others accurately much less care about them, because narcissism/immaturity.
