Especially if said baby is a boy and not a girl? All this can’t happen just on the woman’s earnings. Two-income households are practically standard nowadays if you want kids.

Don't think Lucas would go as far as murdering his son, but more likely ignore him. When the boy reaches dating age, and starts talking about girls/dating/etc, I'd say that's when Lucas will see him as "competition".
