Jesus I just realized that even his eating and drinking process are disgusting. He munches his food like a stray dog, who didn't eat for days. Besides one bit coin per year. How much is it nowadays? $8000? It is barely enough to survive for a few months let alone a year.

$8000 wont even cover rent for 6 months where I live. But he’s never worked for money and has a payee to make sure his bills get handled, so to him $8000 sounds like opulent riches- he has no concept of money or how much most people have. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be stoked if someone handed me eight grand, I’m sure most people would be, but it’s not even rent for a year much less anything to live off of.

SSI with subsidized housing is effectively living in a different world, though. For example, I get around $10k/year, but that's maximized because I'm paying $175/month in rent with free food, free phone, lowered internet, other lower bills, etc... Lucas pissed many of these benefits away because he's an idiot that can't control himself.

He gets more than $8,000 per year in cash benefits and I think like $120 ish per month in food stamps. All his medical is paid for by the state. He has literally never had to take care of himself financially, work or do anything normal people do. Since he's a hobo, he feels that everyone else, including doctors, lawyers, burger flippers, janitors etc., should only make what he makes so the world would be fair (to him). What he doesn't understand is that even if this idiotic idea of his were to ever come true, and everyone was equal in the income world, he would still be at the bottom of the barrel and he'd still be alone. I live in the different country so it might be pointless to compare but in big cities in my country, the rent per month for a normal flat is about 1500 of our currency. Just the flat.
