I guess I'm in the fairly new range, and your post just put into place everything chaotic thing I've been feeling since discovering and watching his videos. But I've got a genuine question on 2. How does Lucas even know about this place. With his age, double digit IQ, and general lack of exposure to technology, his understanding of the internet should be at boomer level - where they believe the internet is composed of just facebook and instagram where all the kids are to do what they do. Also, I guess porn. But how did Lucas even find out about this place, and understand it's a forum that discusses his incel chimp behavior.. it's just hard to believe he'd have enough understanding of the internet and have enough self consciousness to have googled himself
Pretty sure he figured it out back when he first went viral and was likely linked to it by people who wanted to poke the incel creep trying to orchestrate a boycott of Starbucks because he got banned for leaving a creepy note for the 16 year old who served him his hot chocolate.
He knows how to use the Internet and can at least manage Android based tablets and a Chromebook (he had one for awhile, that's what his laptop was) all right; what he doesn't get is the social aspects of it.
He genuinely thinks that people outside of this website adore him and that it's only a small group of haters on KF that dislike him, that he's a legit social media influencer, that his few thousand 'followers' on Facebook and now on IG and even his Youtube subs are actually his friends.
He's a
social moron that doesn't know how to read social cues (including the ones he gives off; he thinks he's truly a suave, charming Don Juan, not a lumbering, wheezy, creep who stares at young women from behind park trash cans), not a
technical one...well, apart from him trying to use that old DS he was sent like it had a touch screen. His tech use skills are pretty average, especially for someone in their 40s who hasn't had a job and hasn't had to work with technology since the late 1990s.
He literally cannot tell when someone is making fun of him. People have openly made fun of him in comments and on podcasts (even before his most recent one) and he doesn't get it, he thinks they're being genuinely nice and curious at face value but then, on the flipside, he'll take people who comment on his IG posts with something entirely and completely benign and flip his shit, accusing them of attacking him or making fun of him.
Based on that blog post from his mom from 2012 he's been a
social moron since he was a kid and some mysterious (and impossible, she said it got up to 110) fever fried his brain like a little egg, which is why I'm about 100% sure he's autistic (the inability to read social cues, the weird fixations, specifically women half his age and board games, the rigid, inflexible thinking, the inability to understand-NOT a refusal to
take responsibility, watch/listen to him long enough and you'll see that there's genuine confusion and actual not understanding why his behavior nets him the hilariously bad end results that it does-why his behavior is considered inappropriate, creepy, or gets him in trouble, the taking what would be a minor social interaction-say, someone smiling if you say hello to them as you pass them on the sidewalk-as a major indicator that that person is in love with him or is at least now his friend, having actual fucking meltdowns that would put any Karen to shame) in addition to being mentally ill and unmedicated. The latter doesn't help with the former.
His mom wildly exaggerating about him having a 108-110 fever for a couple of weeks straight, which is not possible, he would have died within hours or, at most, a day or two if it was that high, she describes a textbook "high functioning", verbal autistic kid.
Edit: Forgot meltdowns when his routine is disrupted.
His last few sets of major meltdowns that weren't "18 year old chicks won't fuck me" were when his routines of shelter hopping for food, actually being allowed into the shelter he was used to going to routinely because of covid, having to stay at the library as temporary shelter and do half his videos in portable toilets, things like that, they were triggered by changes in his usual routine. While changes in routine can make anyone kind of flip out or get a bit snappy, it's usually people who are autistic that go into full on meltdown rages about it.
His last set of rages before he went dark, likely due to losing or breaking his phone, seem to have happened after HoC stopped allowing him to spend days AND nights there when they probably caught on to the fact that despite "needing" to stay there during the day due to having an injured foot, he could somehow also walk around with ease and go outside and walk for miles (while recording) if he got bored.
