The good thing is every apartment Lucas has had in Spokane has been monitored to where he'd be found out if he tried to sneak in an underage girl. When he lived at the Phoenix House he could not have guests overnight. All visitors had to check in and out at the front desk. Pioneer Pathway had a camera monitoring the entrance and non-residents cannot just walk in. He can't have guests at Mallon Place.

I’ve grown so used to laughing at his overall incompetence as a predator and failure at life but it’s good you point this out because it’s worth remembering that he truly does belong somewhere where the authorities can keep better tabs on him and hopefully stay ahead of the curb with his threatening behaviour.

This is why I wish policing had more mental health experts on front lines who could better evaluate this kind of thing up close with people who are mentally ill but no one can get inside his head and know exactly how serious he might be about acting on an impulse on any given day or whether or not he has any plans when he films young girls to pursue any of them.

The hard thing to determine with his insanity is how far he has escalated and at what point he might pose an immanent danger to public safety. I wouldn’t be surprised with absolutely nothing to lose he might do something really regrettable under the right set of circumstances where something really doesn’t go his way and he just throws all caution to the wind. He might also just remain a giant self-serving narcissist and not try anything that jeopardizes his base comforts and freedom but Lucas seems so hellbent to have a girl it’s hard to say if he is on an eventual collision course for serious trouble in the future.
