Before we go too much into the new place idea, let me ask the more educated in both WA and social/legal services.
Lucas has a DV charge. Now I don't know about WA but here in PA even misdemeanor it's serious enough you can't get a gun and lose some certs like teaching etc. I can only assume for housing shares esp special needs it's gotta have some issues.
